    Yup.
    When I first joined Wynn I was freaking relieved that if we don't go down to 2 SP, we wouldn't lose our crap.
    But since that, along with the stay-offline-for-anhour-and-get-a-free-SP system with 1.13, it kinda feels like the old system was too... easy to "cheat" I guess. You could waste all your SP to 2 doing Qira Hive,
    then go to sleep. The next day, the SPs would be regenerated to its max capacity.

    Since there is some misunderstanding about the poll here is what each option means.

    Even before this, I liked it: I liked the NEW system even before I read this thread.

    No, it will always be no:
    I will NEVER stick with the new system. Hail the SP-2 mechanic!

    I used to like it, but after this, not so sure anymore: I liked the new system. But after reading this comparison, I now hate the new system.

    The new system also encourages players to be more careful, whereas the old one was basically "i can do literally anything until i have 2 SP"

    And the new system is so much better because it's basically "I can do literally anything until I have 8 SP"?
    All it does is limit us even more than the old system with no benefits.

    It's better because it means the game isn't easier than a Blue's Clues episode. A game with no challenge is boring; a game that's too challenging is frustrating. There needs to be a balance between the two extremes, and 7/8 XP is pretty perfect in that regard; not to mention that you still only lose a few of your items until around 5 SP, horses cannot be dropped, and it's only getting easier to survive with powders increasing damage outputs.

    EDIT: It also means that as a lower player, you have to be even more cautious, which prepares you for the rest of the game; since it only takes 1 death to be within loss range. As you level, it gets farther away, and the danger is lessened, even though mobs scale in risk. Then again, that was still a feature in the previous system, it's just that it's now more prominent.

    If you aren't reckless and keep your HP up you won't die. Unless it is a bug or /kill it would make sense to be upset at dying.

    If you are so concerned about dying then what you can do is keep a good supply of potions in your inventory and manage your health accordingly, wait and decide what to do before doing it and plan how you will approach mobs.

    This feature is supposed to make you think about what to do next, instead of running in guns blazing.

    That is all I'm going to say for this matter.

    Seriously? I'm really thankful I get 15 on my characters ;—;

    I feel like this is just gonna limit how long people play even more since you'll start losing things much earlier.

    I'm not reckless, I just can't afford all the amazing endgame gear and mythics that other players have. And I get stuck in walls often from quest teleporters and have to /kill, which limits the amount I can play the game severely with the new system.

    I don't have that much health, because I can't afford all those maxed out legendaries and my main class isn't a tank build, so potions take too long to take effect. I use heal because I'm a mage and it's instant.
    How am I supposed to wait and decide what I do when I die from a lag spike?
    Or when I get stuck in a wall and have to /kill?
    This new system is assuming we all have perfect computers and perfect internet, and it assumes that there will never be any bugs and that all our deaths will be our fault, which they aren't. The old system gave some much needed flexibility for people that don't have top of the line computers, or top of the line endgame armour, while still keeping us from going into situations "guns blazing."

    I liked the new system... Until I found out that when I died at 6 sp on beta, items of value were lost. What I originally thought was going to happen was that no items of value (like keys, powders , scrolls, weapons, armor) were going to be lost unless one dies at 5 sp or less. Now I totally hate the system, because that's not what it should've been. Also, items still despawn.
