    Oh shit I'm dumb. Also I forgot to mention that they should lessen the drop rate for different item tiers. So if (whatever the percentage is for weapons to drop, I forget)% could be split up to the 5 tiers of items. Mythics could have a much more lower chance than Unique. Say it was 30% chance for items to drop. In that 30% chance 13% Normal 11% Unique 9% Rare etc.

    why the fuck would i use a good item i have no idea gee willikers i should just be keeping it in my bank to sit there and look purple ive been doing it wrong this entire time oh silly ol me what a fool i was for trying to play the game

    how about we make it 0% anything in hotbar, equipped, and any mythics or horses

    i think the system should change a little
    for example
    7 sp - you lose 3% of ur normals
    5 sp - you lose 3% of ur normals and 3% of ur uniques
    3 sp - you lose 3% of ur rares , 3% of ur uniques and 3% of ur normals
    1 sp - you lose 5% of every sort of item you have (5% of ur uniques/legendaries/rares and even mythics)
    just my opinion on this
    and ofcourse add the emeralds and junk items and all

    but overall how it is rn is just fine

    lol just take it that it's warning all the new players 'don't die or you'll lose all your stuff' by imposing minor penalties , before they actually hit >3sp and actually LOSE everything.
    Just stop playing when you hit 5sp.

    In my opinion this would ruin wynncraft and people wouldn't be online as much. I think it should stay as it was.

    it's fine atm just add mythics, le, horses to the no-drop list (I know horses are already no drop).

    In this thread it sounds like everybody is planning on dying, do you really die that often? I'm sure lots of you only die during battles with bosses or swarms of monsters, at least that's in my experience. Why are you saying all of this about having a chance to lose a good item and how its unfair, because i bet you already keep good items and lots of emeralds in your inventory anyway, because it's pretty uncommon to die by accident on an average day of grinding or doing quests. I keep 6 le in my inventory at all times, and with the new system I won't lose it anytime soon. Do you really die that much that having a small chance of losing a good item is so much? There's also a chance of dying too, and I don't think anybody's killing themselves on purpose, and if you are, it looks like the owners don't want you to because with the new system, you shouldn't be doing /kill. And about walls, why are you stuck in them in the first place? Don't try to glitch it or escape through them... I've never been stuck in a wall myself. Wynncraft just got a bit harder and a bit easier with faster xp gain. It's really going to be practically the same. You haven't even tried it yet. You've been playing this game all this time and when making an obviously controversial decision like this, I'm sure it's well planned out.

    Sure, completly sound logic, but how about the SP max count is raised, so rather than stopping at level 75, you continue getting more soul points for another fifteen levels, and then the next ten levels (to lvl 100) you get another SP
    (I explained that badly, so here we go)
    Level 15 +1 SP>Level 30 +1 SP>Level 45 +1 SP> Level 60 +1 SP>Level 75 +1 SP> Level 90 +1 SP> Level 100 +1 SP> Total 17 SP.

    I'm in the beta now, I got added yesterday.
    And the sp system is just as horrible as I thought it would be, and I hate it with the rage of a thousand suns.

    There are so many flaws in this logic(in the way I see it). First of all, why are you comparing us to dogs? It's common sense to know at least something bad will happen when you reach zero. Not to mention the warning it gives you once you reach two, advising you to remain in a safe area to allow regeneration. Even if we keep the dog analogy it's more like warning the dog not to do it again or else it will face punishment the next time.

    Also it doesn't matter if we aren't the average Wynncraft player. ALL players receive the warning. You don't have to be experienced to know when to take a break. The remake of the soul point system will only increase these breaks/limit gameplay time. Might I also add that the way some players will react to this will be very similar to how they would if there was a 100% chance of dropping all items at 5 sp. Not many players are going to play below 5 sp because they don't want to risk losing anything of value. It's no different than when players stop and take a break at 2.

    Might I also add that the MAJORITY of players do run low on sp fairly often. And I've never heard of anyone using /kill simply for getting around faster unless they are completely lost without hope of getting back to any civilization or stuck in a glitch(which actually happens almost daily for me) You also mentioned something about how players rage quit when they reach zero. I believe the number of players who rage quit will dramatically increase after the update due to item loss being based off of chance which is completely unfair. Once they lose one of their most valued possessions simply from bad luck, they probably won't have the motivation to continue.

    Overall, what we have now is a simple, fair, and punishable but not harsh system. What you are doing with this update is removing the simplicity and fairness, making harshness and punishment the remainder. I of course am still willing to give it a try, but I think after the update is released, if the majority of players still hate the soul point system then you should at least consider changing it. This update was focused on players' suggestions and complaints after all so it would only make sense you still take them.
