I would also like to point out that "playing safer" doesn't change the fact that there are still gliches which requireeyou killing yourself. I'll admit I tried to play safer and only died twice of fall damage. Oh and I just realized since in ther new update the only good way to lvl up is to grind (which I find unresonably unuseful), you might die more offten while grinding. Ans simply grinding isn't very fun. I know something about it, I've grinded throught most of my mage playthrough. Here's a video of how grind ing in wynncraft feels:

i don't get whats up with all this "if we use a scroll we'll lose stuff!" it says you'll possibly lose items upon DEATH not upon scroll usage

 

It should come out in about 2-4 days (they said), it should be out in 2-4 weeks they said 6 weeks ago.

Do you get anything for being a Beta Tester? Other than getting to see and test the new world before it comes out, of course.

 

I'm still not sold on the new SP system with its reasoning. I held the current one in high respect for perfectly managing to keep people attentive without actually punishing them at all with little more than an echoing threat of essentially soft nuking your character to keep them in line. The new system however just spreads that nuking throughout your soul point threshold with RNG as far as having a chance to drop ID-ed items(Which is basically a nuke as well.). 3%, 0.1% it barely matters. The average player is not going to gamble with hours of work when you can die from glitches, mobs spawning right on top of you, lag mob sandwiches,etc. Whatever percentile of people that have the gameplay behavior pattern that allows killing themselves to cheat minutes of travel with 2 soul points can't possibly be large enough to be worth fiddling with a more than functional system for every player. If you really don't think people are taking SP seriously enough, you could just add more ways to spent SP rather than implementing this joyless and mentally load-bearing system that seems to serve a minor fix at the cost of many people's peace of mind and opportunities to play.
