Update Opinions

I don't have an opinion yet but I am excited, I won't know what it will be like until it comes out. Things can be unpredictable and this is unpredictable. When Gavel was about to come out we didn't think they would mess up smoke bomb and ruin assassin's damage scaling/mana efficiency but it happened, the update is unpredictable but I am optimistic.

itll make another quarter of the players quit since itll be too complicated (is what i think will happen)
mmorpgs are supposed to be complicated. thats what makes it fun. im hyped for this update

My opinion about the update is not so good. The features are amazing in my opinion, and I am actually very excited, however, I noticed how fast people lvled up in the game (before the update), and how all my friends got to level 50 in a matter of days. Imagine, they are making everything give 2x to 3x more xp, and if you use DXP after the update, you'll be leveling up SUPER EASILY, and I think it's kind of breaking the game, and I think they should make the monsters harder maybe, especially since they added powders again, which makes the game even EASIER because you can use powders to make your weapons better. Maybe I'm wrong, and this is properly balanced, but nobody knows until the update itself. Well maybe I'm wrong, this is just my opinion.

 

You raise valid points, though dxp will not work on quests anymore, which was a large factor

 

A. XP for mobs only really increases in the late/endgame, not in the first half of the game
B. DXP no longer affects quests, and neither does XP armor, making the game somewhat harder
C. Powders remove neutral damage meaning that it'll be harder to fight certain mobs

 

not really.... they doubled the XP of almost all the quests.

 

Pretty sure that the majority of the quest XP they're changing is in the leter levels/endgame, because unlike the earlier levels, people tend to wait for DXP then to turn in quests

 

If it gets released before I completed Hive on my Hunter I hate the update, otherwise I love it.

I'm actually excited about the update. First, I won't have to spend 10 hours to get from lvl 86-87. Second, I won't need to wait for dxp anymore (I once waited two weeks). Third, sprint bar. Fourth, I like how the dungeon are more unique and how the bosses now have a gimmick. Fifth, I'm excited for the new quests. Finally, I'm excited for what we will fight at the new boss altars.

 

I wanna find another bug and make a game breaking build
