If a species doesn't need a mate at all to reproduce, then it has absolutely no reason to be able to love, because the main functional point of love is to find someone to mate with.
I don't think he's a dwarf. Just because dwarves do golemancy doesn't mean nothing else does. I mean, the workers in the golem factory in the Iron Heart quests are villagers, not dwarves, aren't they? They must still technically be golemancers.

 

Maybe the dwarven government does not allow females. If so, all mating is not allowed.

 

Selvut told me that gale and ohms will not be featured in a quest :( I was hoping for that at first too but I guess a boss altar would be the next best thing

 

That would be very extreme, because that would basically mean they decapitate them the moment they're born and throw them into lava. Where would they hide them if they were kept alive?
It's more likely that they either use parthenogenesis, are made from natural resources by wild magic, or the GMs weren't thinking hard enough.

Remember what we know about thunder.

Sulvet himself said thunder is the stand-in element for evil. Corruption is always thunder/fire element, everything with decay is thunder/eart, while purity stuff is water/air.

Considering Sulvet is the one in charge of all the gale/ohms stuff, could that be an implication about ohms being bad?

I still think gale and ohms fought against something but thier power wasn't enough, gale died in battle and ohms in a last try to save her (or her cause) came with her body to qira so she can be brought back in spirit form.
Qira agreed with the requirement that gake will stay with her and fight for her until idk what happens.
Ohms agreed to this and gale was spirited away.
Ohms went back to his lab working on better golems to fight for him.

Ps if ohms a golemancer doesnt it mean he extracts the soul from other biengs?

I still do not approve of the theory that Ohms killed Gale, it just doesn't seem right to me ;/

 

Based on Selvut's response, I think we got something similar, but also drastically different, to An Iron Heart Part II going on here. Instead of extracting random villager's souls, he could've extracted his own and put it in a golem. Because he's a golemancer, that seems like the most likely event that would lead to him being alive today.

Plus, it could easily be used for an Ohms Lab boss fight.

 

I mentioned in a previous thread that Gale and Ohms couldn't have been human because
Human contact with Gavel hadn't happened yet. I believe he responded by saying they could have snuck in thru the Ahmsord entrance. So it's not impossible that they aren't humans.

 

Eltom is a human settlement tho isnt it?

 

It is, although we don't have much detail about that yet. It probably existed Pre-Gavel gates though.

 

One teaser/changeblog mentioned a quest that will explain how eltom exists up in the mountains aktho villager kaw forbids it.

 

I know. What I'm saying is that Gale and Ohms, as well as the Eltomians, were most likely there before the main gates opened.
