Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

They are coming from both. It seems as though the screams are all around him though. The slime bubbles, and sort of "points" to the right path.

 

"Err... thank you... I guess?"
Enqo goes down the right path.

OOC: Hehehe, now he has to go down the path he needs to (you get that, right? HAHAHAHAHHAHA AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH).
Yep, I am definitely going insane.

 

Rina keeps throwing, the lance teleporting to her hand after it loses speed.

It's a bit weak to break the rock on its first attempt, but Keila lets lightning fly from her hands to the dragon, still trying to finish the job.

 

I fall on my back, sighing.

"Soooo much waaiiiiting. Should've gone with Stephanie..." I complain.

 

"Aren't you capable of flight? You could run on over to the commotion and probably make it back by the time everyone's regrouped."

 

"Yeah...but it looks dangerous. Plus, if fighting is involved, I'd rather do it with everyone, together. Kind of like when we met Ragnyon." I say.

 

"If you're this antsy, you can go over and see if it's the people we're waiting on. If it is, help them. If it's not, fall back and at least the rest of us will know what's going on over there."

 

"Well, alright. I'll be back soon I guess." I say, kissing Artemis goodbye before growing a pair of large Shadow wings and flying towards the commotion.

 

As you get closer, you see Keila firing a beam of lightning at a massive dragon who seems to have a frozen over wound in its stomach. Rina is hurling her lance, seemingly to distract it. Neither notice you.

 

"Holy crap, where have I been when this was happening!?" I exclaim, drawing Shadow Katana and tripling my size.

 

"I believe you were busy with Artemis when it started!" Rina shouts back, losing her focus.

 

I decide to swiftly fly under the dragon, cutting the frozen wound anew.

 

The lightning still seems to not affect it. However the lance finally hits the dragon in the left eye. It howls in pain.
Aj's shadow katana cuts the dragon's wound. It seems to have partially healed, so it isn't as large, but it still makes the water around it red with blood.
The blood also seems to be so warm that it melts the ice too.

 

"Haha, gotcha!" I say happily. I start surveying the dragon for possible weak points.

 

Realizing this, Keila opts to drop hail on it; backed up by gale winds.

"Hope you don't mind ice!" Keila shouts as the hail pelts the dragon.

 

I try my best to bat the hail towards the dragon, assisting it's speed.

 

The slime bubbles.

As Enqo continues to walk down into the mines, the screams get louder. Eventually he comes accross another elevator, this time with a large warning sign on it. The doors appear to be shut.

 

Its chest, where the cut was, looks quite weak.
Otherwise, it's covered in thick scales.

The hail doesn't seem to affect the dragon much... except when it gets in its good eye, which distracts it.

Enqo passes through the door to the elevator.

 

Rina repositions and starts throwing at its other eye, hoping to buy Aj time to cut it open from the inside.

Once Enqo gets through, he sees a mutilated corpse hanging from the ceiling of the elevator. There is blood covering the floor, ceiling and walls of the elevator. The elevator starts to descend.
