Did you lose money? Did he make money? No. Yeah, he is unfair and lied about the deal, but he wasn't a scammer.

It doesn't matter how small a thing he did, though to many 5 LE isn't that small an amount.

If he never planned to give him the emeralds, then that's even worse; it means he really was trying to cheat him, and didn't just get mad.

Being a dick to somebody else just because you're bored is also inexcusable, for several reasons. Nobody should be defending the guy, he deserves some amount of retribution and notice for this, though I don't really think a whole thread was necessary.

Either way,

just as ruja says, this is getting out of hand, so if we could just stop here like sensible people, that'd be great.

MAYBE, he should have not offered 5 le. And come on! You are seriously using boredom as an excuse? Then get off Wynn for awhile! It's not that hard, and yes, he did expect him to give le, because that is what kind people who don't make false promises do.

But in all seriousness, the "scammer" was in the wrong, he was a coward and overly cocky, and should've held his end of the deal.

Alright, guys. This thread has gotten out of hand and severely off topic. There's not really much to talk about and yet you guys managed to make it a huge fuss. Please be on topic and civil or I'll be forced to close the thread

There really is no reason to argue if this was a scam or not in the end it is up to the moderation team to determine what should be dealt with the guy so please just stop arguing about it, it's pointless especially when it is a flame war.
