"Matthew? Huh... I don't think I know him..."

 

OOC: PLOT TWISSSSST

 

"That's about as much as I can sense, sorry. It's hard to mind read from such a distance." Artemis says.

OOC: Well, not really. I can glean from interactions a certain someone's in the forest with the birthlake, so Artemis would obviously be able to sense his presence there.

 

"Eh, it's okay. I'm more curious what he's doing here."

 

"I hope he's friendly; he's with one of the others, and while their life is fine, he may be holding them hostage. I can't be certain." Artemis says.

 

"Assume the best, prepare for the worst."
I look around.
"I think we're prepared for just about anything he'd throw at us, if he hasn't killed one of the others."

 

"I doubt he could kill me, and he'd have to go through a lot to even lay a finger on Artemis." I say. Artemis smiles at me.

 

I smile at both of them.
"Point is, I don't think he's a threat."

 

"Hopefully not. A new friend is always better than a new enemy." I say happily.

"Well, I guess we'll just have to wait and see!" Artemis says, smiling.

 

"It seems so."

 

You're almost at the front of the line.
"Now, don't scare them off." The draconian mutters, glaring at you.

"What the hell are you doing?" Rineth groans.
Ihra whimpers in her sleep.

 

"Calling up some reinforcements to go adventuring." Stephanie says.

 

The dragon snarls. It doesn't seem to be affected by the ice.

Enqo cautiously moves towards the screams and cries for help.

 

"Don't get lost like Vesius!" He responds, going back to waiting.

"Hey... Who are we even waiting on anyways?"

Using another fissure, Keila creates a wall of volcanic rock that slowly circles the dragon.
"Throw."

Rina hurls her lance at the dragon's eye again.

 

"I think Eras...Daras...their friends, uh...that god of destruction guy...and I think that's about it?" I ask.

 

"God of Destruction said he'd go his own way, but I saw Daras fly over towards some islands. In fact, whatever they're fighting is probably the thing holding them up. That earthen circle wasn't there a minute ago and the waves hve been erratic."

 

"Fly, Rineth, fly! To adventure and heroic deeds!" I shout.

 

"Ihra needs rest, unless you want to wait even longer than you have. For that matter, I was enjoying the rest since you had been on the move so much."

 

"Fine fine, I'll try. I'll start off slowly."

Enqo goes deeper and deeper into the mine. Eventually, he comes across a crossroads.

 

The dragon turns, trying to smash the rocks and avoid the lance hitting its eye.

OOC: It was Eras.

He listens out for the direction the screams are coming from.
