CHAPTER ONE


"Do you want to build a rustic house?" Is all I heard as I was getting ready for work. It was the big day, the day of the biggest update in history, Gavel. Francis wanted me there as soon as possible. But, as always, my robot thingy, NPC Grian, wanted me to build a rustic house. I kept telling him no, but he would say, "But Grian, Rustic houses are love!" I told him to be quiet or I'd shove him in the closet. When I went to brush my teeth, NPC Grian followed me into the bathroom. As I was brushing my teeth, I looked up at the mirror, and could swear NPC Grian had red eyes. I jumped, and turned around to him. He was completely normal, speaking in my voice, "Did you decide to build a rustic house?" I stared at him for a minute. Then I decided I was hallucinating. It might have been because I couldn't sleep last night. Something didn't feel right while I was in bed.
I opened the door, said goodbye to NPCGrian, but he didn't respond. Usually, he said, "Good luck with your rustic house!". But today, he just stared at me. Something wasn't right.

CHAPTER ONE - PART TWO

I got home that night, tired. The update was amazing. I couldn't believe how many players had showed up to appreciate our hard work. I opened the door, and yelled to NPCGrian. Now I finally had time to build a rustic house. We were building it, but something didn't feel right about it. I keep getting that feeling around NPCGrian. There's something... different... about him. It may just be paranoia, but I can't be sure.
I went to sleep that night, and in my dream, I saw two red eyes, staring at me in the night. It said to me in the most horrifying voice ever:

"You shouldn't have left me in the closet, Grian."

Something flashed, I heard a scream, and I was in Detlas. It was blood-stained. But there was one key that gave away who did this. Someone killed everyone in the town, and gave them blocks like cobblestone, wood, slabs, and more. It was the blocks needed to make a rustic house. NPC Grian did this.

I woke up, to see NPC Grian standing over me, and I screamed.
"What are you screaming for?" he asked me.
I stood up, shivering, and began getting ready. NPCGrian wouldn't stop bugging me. Eventually, I got so mad that I forgot about my dream and threw him in the closet. Yes, he has definitely changed. I didn't know what to think.
I went to Detlas to see if my dream possibly has any correlation with the real Detlas. As always, Detlas was full of people messing with horses, trading items, and dueling. There were more people that usual, though. I wondered if someone hosted an event.
I went home to see our rustic house was torn down, and my house was bloody. I went in, and I couldn't believe it.

The closet was empty, except for some blood!

CHAPTER TWO

I was walking around the house for NPC Grian. I felt like I had voices in my head, screaming, "THE CLOSET. THE CLOSET. THE CLOSET." I was scared to death. I tried to call Francis and Jumla, but when I dialed Francis' phone number, I was scared out of my mind by the phone. It said in a creepy voice: "There is no escape, Grian".

That was the end. I ran to the door, tried to open it. Someone locked it. I yelled, "NPCGrian, get down here this instant!"

He did answer. But he looked different. He had black hair. His face was whiter than usual. He drooled blood. My heart pounded so hard. His eyes were the same shade of red that I saw in the bathroom mirror yesterday morning. He said to me in the same voice that I heard in my dream -

"Do you want to build a rustic houuusssssssseeeeeeeee?"

I started kicking down the door as fast as I could. It was no use. Iron doors were stupid. Now I'm going to die.

"NPCGrian, let's talk about this! I'm sorry for not building a rustic house for you, I swear I'll do it!"

"You should not have left me in that closet."

I backed up as far as I could. NPCGrian kept getting closer. He was right in front of me.




And he said the iconic words:
"Do you want to build a rustic house?"


EPILOGUE

This is the story of a cow named Salted.

Where was he? He's never late for work! What is holding up Charles? We have to begin the Follow-Up!

Oh well. I guess he's sick today. He tried calling me yesterday, but I couldn't pick up for some reason. Guess he hung up early. I'll have to work on the follow up by myself today, then.
