Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Katie gives Crystal a disgusted look, before laughing it off.

 

"Thank you again..."

A while later, I say, "I found a few alive Wind Dragons in a cave. That's the good news. The bad news is, I can hear something large on the island. If I try to evacuate the Wind Dragons, it could kill them. And this isn't even the last cave. There could still be dozens here, not to mention the ones which likely fled to other islands."

"I'm ready!"

Hythania says, "Ihra? She is at the Birthlake nearby. So you know her?"

 

"Yes. Two years ago I met her. Then, well, I took what you could say was a vacation." Matthew starts waking, "So you think you can take me to the Birthlake?"

 

"No problem."

"I'll take a look."

Keila turns to the seas and flies towards the Wild Island.

 

"It's okay! Don't bum yourself out about it."

Crystal rolls over again, before making a fish swim up his belly and into his mouth.

 

Katie's laughter drops a little.

 

"It's okay! He's fine."
The fish swims out of Crystal's belly, waves at Katie, then sinks back in.

 

Katie's laughter drops completely, her face turning to an expression of disgust and fear.

 

"Well I just soured that. Sorry."
Crystal frowns.

 

"It's kind of creepy and weird..." Katie says.

 

"Well, it certainly is exciting." Helianthus says, reading the book.

"You go in first, I'll make sure no one follows us." I say, opening up a portal in front of Enqo.

 

"Okay."
Crystal shifts back into a human.
"I'll keep that in mind."

 

Katie surrounds her fish tail in water for a moment, before letting the water fall. Katie then lies back and sky gazes.

 

Crystal goes and lays down on the spine of Rineth.

 

"Yes. It should be in a lighter part of the forest. Not only because it's a clearing, but because darker parts, like here, are more dangerous."
As you move forwards, you notice that the forest is actually becoming brighter already."

When Keila arrives, there is still a large blizzard and storm covering the island...
...is it just her, or does the blizzard seem to move slightly?

Enqo walks through the portal?

 

It's a standard pet-care manual.
"Yeah. Quite the task getting back on the path once you branch off, but Mistress has quite the maze set up out there."

Keila uses strong winds to force the blizzard to calm, lightning crackling in her hands.

 

"That makes sense, but anyways how did you two meet Ihra?"

 

Enqo finds a massive wasteland through the portal. There is no plant life whatsoever, and the ground is crusty and toxic. There are lots of pools of toxic liquid, and occasionally some disgusting looking creatures surface from the bubbling pools and roam around, before returning back into the pools.The air has a distinct color of green; probably toxic gases. There is a small fortress not too far away at the base of a massive mountain. I come in moments after Enqo does, and close the portal.

"Welcome to Argentum, in The Most Serene Kingdom of Perniciosa. Please hold all questions until we're safely inside the fortress." I say, motioning Enqo to follow me as I walk towards the fortress.

"Say, do you know anyone here who can open portals? I was thinking of capturing a couple hundred people to feed to those guys out there." Helianthus says, putting the book back.

 

As the blizzard disappears, Keila starts to see a large white dragon with a blue-ish hue. It's flying over the centre of the island, blasting bolts of lightning at the ground below. The snow seems to turn into ice when the lightning touches it.
When the blizzard starts to clear, it seems to notice a change. It starts to turn round very slowly.

"We were living in the Void Palace, Eras' palace in the Void. Eras came with a draconian called Xephyr, and we wanted to go with them. They then, after a while, went back to Ihra's group. Eras had already known Ihra."

"No wonder there is toxic gas in your mines if your kingdom is like this."
He follows Terrae.

 

"The other provinces aren't as bad as this one. It just so happens that mining operations are common here because of the high amount of ore in the rock." I say, continuing onwards.

"Can you phase through walls?" I ask.
