Things On The Map (that Have Probably Been Found)

Ok, everyone, I know these have probably been found. I just haven't played Wynn in a while and I wanted to know what these thingies are because I've been trying to figure it out for about an hour. I'm assuming they're for quest rooms or something. Don't yell at me, yo.

#1 probably has something to do with WynnExcavation Site D.
#2 is the Update Room.

 

the second one is the room when u update from wynn province to gavel, basically when u were an older player upgrading to a newer version.
but i dunno wat the second one is
