"As a rock, I haven't gotten many chances, but I think I'll like it better this time around."
Crystal reforms so he only has two legs again.

 

"Hopefully. You should be heavy enough not to fall off."

"Oh, nevermind then... Has Aj already seen them?"

 

"Probably too busy making out with Artemis to notice..." Abigail says.

 

"Oh, it's not that I fell off last time. It's just that I was squished in between a bunch of rocks inside a claw."

 

"Myria'll shut that down fast."

"Oh, that's... not fun."

 

Abigail laughs, "The funny thing is, I think she's approving of them." She says.

 

"Didn't make my first experience with a dragon the best, but he was pretty dumb anyways. Well, I didn't get to know him much. I just kinda escaped when he wasn't looking."

 

"Artemis is still young. I know Myria has standards."

"True on both counts. Still, welcome aboard, I guess. It'll be an odd ride."

 

"They're both seventeen; I'd consider that an appropriate age." Abigail says.

 

"Vei knew a bit about humans. That's a bit early, but not by much. Especially if guardians live longer than humans."

 

"Better than walking across the bottom of the ocean!"
Crystal says cheerfully.

 

"Guardians' reach sexual maturity at the same rate as humans; really, the age differences come into play during the mid-life rather than early life." Abigail says.

 

"That's true... But what we fight might make you have no other choice."

"Still, she'll do as she sees fit. I trust her as I trusted Vei."

 

"It'll be funny to see her breaking up one of their smooching sessions." Abigail says, laughing.

 

"If you spy on them during that, you'll have a shadow katana at your neck."

 

Abigail laughs harder, "Who said I'd get caught?" She asks.

 

"At least wait until they're not in a forest, then." Ihra utters nervously.

 

"Yeah. Pratically a death wish I'm sure Myria would love to execute..." Abigail says.

 

"If I were you, I'd avoid as many as you can."

 

"Yeah...but I'm sure they could never want to hurt me, right?" Abigail asks.
