Any Class Help A Veteran Wynncrafter In Need Of Assistance

Dear wynners,

My name is Madib00 and I am an old wynncraft player. I played wynn A TON about two or three years back. Eventually I got all basic classes to level 75, and quit after that. Now I'm planning a return to the server, but so much Gavel stuff is going over my head.

When I first logged in, I kind of just screw my skill points all over the place to use my old gear. Only to find out there is this new "elemental subclasses" stuff going on and the gear is basically useless on most parts.

Now what I would like to know is what should I build for each class (elements and weapons and such) starting at lvl 75, and also how much is it going to cost me. I have about 15LE in my bank to work with, plus almost 5 full sets of the old "end game armor" to sell. I'm afraid of getting scammed as well, because I have no idea how much items are supposed to cost nowadays.

I wasn't quite sure where I should post this, but after all it is mostly about the builds so... yeah. I don't really have a preference for the class, but I must say Thunder-Air Assassin sounds interesting, as well as Water-Fire Mage.

I would be very grateful if someone helped me get back into Wynn.

Well, depends completely on your playstyle.
For Mage, The Water/Intellegence Is recommended.
Some items you may need are:

For Warrior: Fire/ Earth is recommended.
Some items you may need are:

For Assassin: Any element works, but assassin got nerfed a lot.
Earth Assassin: Grimtrap, Shawl, Terras Mold, Greaves Of Veneer.
Dex Assassin: Gales Freedom, Gemini,
Water Assassin: Third Eye: Dreamcloud, Crystal, Sodeta Boots
Fire Assassin: Inferno, Leo, Greaves Of Veneer:
Air Assassin: (Fun but expensive) Aries, Booster Plate, Legs of the scared, Wind Mimic, Weathered, Archangel.

Archer: Speed Or Freedom Build is recommended.

Btw, when I'm selling the old end gear pieces, how much should I sell them for? I've been away for so long I have no idea about the emerald value. Because I obviously have to get rid of pretty much everything I don't use because the listed items combined cost stacks and stacks of LE... And also, is Chakram better that Bob's for the thunder-air-assassin at lvl 75?

 

Blue masks are worth tons with over 75 total stat points. I asked around and many said they would pay well over 12 le stacks for a max'ed one (20 in every stat)

adamantite, as you can tell, is ass. You probably wont be able to sell it, and if you can, its not more than 32 eb tbh.

crystal:
-1/4 mana regen: worthless
-2/4 mana regen and bad ids: worthless
-2/4 with mostly max other ids: ehh 1-5 le
-3/4 5+ le easily, depending on other stats

stalags are not "amazing" perse, because no one uses str/dex, but it is an interesting stat combo, and by no means are they bad. 2/4 mana steal will net you at most 2-3 le.

Honestly until you know what you want to do I'd suggest using Champion armor, it's quite good for level 75 and since there aren't requirements you can put your skill points into what you want

and, there is a lot of stuff you need to know. It helps to read the update changelog for help, and everybody here got here before me (damn) so there isnt much I can do. You can tag me if you need any more help.

 

Chak is most definitely better than Bob's Mythic in that sense. The next good neutral dagger is Alazarin (lv 89) however it requires 15 skill points in every element. So for neutral I'd recommend Bob's Mythic until you can get to Hive Infused.

 

@orange0401 @Poiu429 @Kawaii__Turtle Huge thanks to you all! :) Okay, currently I have an okay-ish build for the Assassin. I am using Spectre (got lucky with the 38% spell dmg :D), then I replaced Adamantite with Millenium as my chestplate for some all-around stats, Champion leggings (because my int is not enough for Crystal haha) and Sodeta Boots. On top of that I have the full Jester set with not too greatly lowered xp bonus and positive loot bonus. As a weapon I am using mainly Chakram and sometimes Bob's, and I have a 361% thunder dmg Roulette waiting for me at lvl 89. Not sure if Roulette is any good though.
Any suggestions what I should look for next?

 

You should consider an Alazarin as your next pair of daggers, its an all around great legendary, and what elemental build is it? Thats the info I need to know. The spectre does NOT pair well with the roullete, as the ids both debuff one another. The millennium is for a spell dmg build, and I would personally recommend a blue mask over the spectre, based on your build. Also, a Tisaun's Valor looks much better for you as well, and a Greaves of the Veneer would be good, for your supposed thunder build.

usually not too great an idea, because its way too unreliable. Id suggest Air and Earth or thunder and fire.

 

If elements are a bit too much for you, the gameplay update will be adding a quest to help explain them. That update should be here in a few weeks or so.

 

I just don't like the general idea of lowered walk speed that seems to be linked to the earth element. I'm looking for some kind of build to do quests with and travel around as comfortably as possible. If I go low walk speed on the already immobile Assassin I don't think I'll have the patience to crawl around the map (I don't have a horse or a will to get one really). I don't have an intention to do PvP either.
So the question is actually: Is it worth it to go for an air/?element build with as high walk speed as "possible" (not really as fast as possible but you know) for the storyline gameplay of wynn for the Assassin class? Are air builds unusable to kill bosses with?
Oh, and what would be the best place to try to loot an Archangel? Sadly I think I must give up trying to buy one because of the ridiculous price...
