Mage/Dark Wizard Spam Mage (budget Build), Looking For Feedback

Just a silly mage build I came across. Great PvE and makes people hate you PvP. Didn't have to buy any items (from players), and I like it quite a lot, so I thought I'd share:

Helmet: Third eye - Mine are 4/4s with bad spell, but it doesn't really matter. +6 intel

Chestplate: Soul signal - I have no idea why I use this, but it gives +6 intel and decent hp.

Leggings: Crystal - Mine are 3/4s with +4 intel.

Boots: Memento - 4/4s, I really don't care about spell.

Accessories:

Jester rings (2x) - Mine have +4 and +3 intel.

Jester brace - Mine has +2 intel.

Note: Either the character info is bugged, or this really works: It shows that I have the full jester "set" of 3 items although I only have 2 rings and a bracelet. Weird, but I'll take the +300 spell.

EDIT: I can confirm that this is true. Wearing 2 rings and a jester bracelet does give you the full set bonus. Tested it by checking my walkspeed: Wore statue (-120% ws) and held whimsy (+20% ws), but I was still able to talk. Character info shows -115% ws.

Royal stormy amulet - +3 intel.

Wand:

I prefer Ethereal (3/4s, 32% spell, +4 intel) for my main wand and Bob's mythic as my secondary.

If you total everything up, we have 6+6+4+4+3+2+3 (+100 ofc) = 128 intel, and with either wand it becomes 128+4 = 132 intel, which is more than a 75% reduction. (Meaning 2-mana meteore, 1-mana tp, etc)

In addition, we have 4+3+4+1 = 12/4s mana regen from armor, so 15/4s with ethereal or just 12/4s with bob's. More than enough for PvE or dueling, as long as you cycle.

Skillpoint requirements:
Whatever it takes to wear the jester bracelet, 40 dex, 100 int, 30 agi, and the rest on whatever.

Reasoning:

1. 75% reduction is awesome. Really.
2. AGI for those stupid 1-shot archers, which I can't stand
3. It's just freaking amazing. Soloed qira with this :D

Once I level up my mage I think im gonna do something like this. Great guide man.

 

Try Stillwater blue as Chestplate and another leggins than crystal. They dont give enough hp to be good in endgame.


Also you can throw in sqid anklet,concentrations or lapis necklace for more mana regen. Other than that tje build is pretty gud, nice job

 

Thanks! At some point, I had suppressions that I wanted to use, but they didn't give enough intel buff to work. I'll see if I can find replacements (maybe raindrop?) because I'm currently using the jesters to buff intel as well as spell damage.

Stillwater blue seems pretty nice. If I use that, then I can probably focus more on defense instead of putting 40 sp in dex. Thanks!

 

also a hive Ring from the water merchant is pretty good aswell ( I think its Name is moonpool circlet)

 

Yep. I've heard of those too. I'm just too scared to spend my voucher :P because I don't know exactly what build I want to go with.

True. I'm just thinking that this build is kinda a temp build, and I want to do something weirder (Rainbow mage! Yay!) when I have the resources/level. Thanks again for the info!

Tbh I have no idea what I'll be going with :P

I just know that I prefer defense over damage, and I'd like to have a good amount of elemental defense.

 

It looks like a nice build :) But what are the overall stats? (Total HP, damage of meteors)

 

I don't know the exact damage of meteors, but its around 5-7k with ethereal. (not very high). Hp is decent, at 9660.

This build is more focused on spamming spells and surviving. :D
