I have this item since 2 Years in my Bank.. But i can't Sell, or identify it.

Does know what to to with it?

 

just keep it for nostalgia reasons

Wait what. Since when was it bannable? A ton of these are lying around since gavel update.

I think you can get banned by trading vanilla item. Since this is a pre-gavel one, it's fine (not sure tho)
but yeah,

 

Why would it be bannable if it has no effect on gameplay

 

I think you can trade it but not sell it.

 

What if I traded it for emeralds?

These people who are telling you that you would get banned are spreading mis-information without even checking the rules. The rules say no vanilla items, you would not get banned from trading/selling pre-gavel items. The rules define vanilla items as "Vanilla items are normal Minecraft items that are usually obtained through glitches." that does not include pre-gavel items.

 

I think they mean it's bannable if they don't explicitly state 'It's a bugged Pre-Gavel one you can't wear' as that counts as scamming.
