Mage Sticks Suck?

Im level 30 and my friend named AnimeKid Started playing and his begining bow does around 7- 11 damage and i noticed that my level min 26 staff does only 10- 18 damage

Wondering why My staff is bad compared to the other classes weapons


BTW i never played for like 2 Years PS so i dont know why but i need to identify everything

 

Mage is not a melee class , its a spell class

 

Mages are meant to cast spells and support teammates, not for Melee like Warrior and Assassin, although they can use ranged spells, too.

 

But they are a archer and still do more damage

[So that means the only thing good about the mage is there abililties?

 

mage is powerful with spells , although there are still melee mage builds , but its not that good imo

 

Once you master the spell timing and know when to shoot with your melee attacks, mage is OP. Archer does much more damage because it's defense is low, while mage's is OK and they can heal themselves. Meteor is the most powerful attack on mage. Learn good timings. If you want to do a lot of damage quickly, make a water build in the future. You get mana regened very fast with it, allowing you to spam meteor and your other helpful spells. I only use melee attacks on my level 91 mage when I run out of mana.

 

Dunno bout you I do 20k with a meteor 6k with ice snake and 4k with tp

ur stick prob has fast attack speed also.

 

I'm using a static mage build I know @Safari is working on a different version of this build.
after the attack tier fix this will become a high damage melee build.

 

Yeah mages are a spell class and archer is the class with the igherst damage in the game but beleive me archer sucks after a while because your defence is very bad and you have no heal :P so youll need help from other classes

Archer has 4/5 "melee" damage, but 3/5 spell damage.
Mage has 2/5 "melee" damage, but 5/5 spell damage.

 

Or you use potions
Or play a tank build so you don't die
Or play a regen build so you get your health back
Or play a life steal build so you get your health back
Or play a walk speed build so nothing can hit you
Or you play an arrow shield build so nothing can hit you
Or you just don't walk into a group of mobs and just play carefully
