My Opinions On The Recent Community

I feel like the only way the community can be "fixed" is for everyone to just not be assholes, but this is the internet so that is highly unlikely.

 

What bothers me about most of these threads is most of the people who comment on a toxic community. Are primarily forums users. People will mostly use the forums for Suggestions/Complaints. It's a forum. Ideas are bound to be more open and disclosed. People don't understand that a majority of the in-game community just want to play a game. Look at the people who are happy to waste their time that they dedicate to the server just to help new players with a quest or help new players with Qira or Death. Maybe you guys should stop focusing on just reading the forums. It should be a situation where you care more about the game, than what the community has to say about it. If you don't like someone's opinion, You should not have to argue back. Plus, as a final statement. Why title the thread as "My take on the recent community" I myself am a member of the "Recent" community. I haven't had any sort of an issue. I see more problems being started on the forums between old members. Than I do In-game between any random players. I'm not saying that you don't have a valid reason for making this rant. I just feel it's pointless to make a rant about the community. When you're addressing such isolated instances. Go on Teamspeak, Go in-game. 9/10 people will say the game is the best game ever. We cannot say that the community sucks, when the majority are fucking awesome.

 

When will these rant threads be against the rules? Without a doubt, more people will be making threads about the community even though people don't get that this community is still less toxic than most. Many are just jumping on the bandwagon and "realizing" that the community is extremly hostile.

 

They should never be against the rules. Maybe we should just have a section dedicated to ranting.

 

Since when is not liking a game controversal... If people think THAT is hostile, then they are naive as hell.

This is probably the most justified argument ive seen. You can't help that people are assholes and impatient. This hasn't ever been anything too major up until the whole pale1 and snowing thing, which just shows that people backlash if their favorite community members gets banned for justifiable reasons.

Please just relay that to yourself and imagine if any admin would make a SECTION for people wanting to rant about how their community is toxic and hostile.

If it were to somehow happen, it would just turn into people hating or "ranting" on about a mod, item, build, or how it takes forever for an update.

I wish I had more hours in a day so I could actually read these threads and the equally-lengthy comments, and actually participate more in the community, but nooooo, I have to have a life outside of Minecraft. My life sucks :(

 

If you think my thread is pointless. Then that's cool. It may be pointless, but it's my opinion.

Wynncraft is FAR from as toxic as other MC servers. It might just feel like that because of the fact that I dont participate in drama on Wynncraft, and that Ive sadly been in quite a lot of other crap on other servers.

 

I just added a short solutions sections to my thread. I noticed that just ranting about the problem doesn't help.
