Opinions On World Of Mickem

Soo....I just released my very own Minecraft MMORPG and I was thinking...what is your opinions on my new MMORPG.

Btw...this is only the first version. There were minor updates after this.
The PVP Update (Which added a PVP arena in the Mesa Village, and fixed sand bug not dropping Gold Nuggets)
The Money Update (Which added a bank where you can convert gold nuggets to other stuff and you can store items)
And The Horse Update. (Which added horses)

 

I do appreciate the effort in making your own game, but it needs some heavy improvement ("Eh." rating).
1. Make sure to take advantage of Minecraft's formatting system, allowing you to color and add effects to mob names and items.
2. Are there any special things to make the game other than just basic attacks? From what I can tell with the trailer, all there is is vanilla Minecraft combat, minus attack speed constraints. Don't be worried to add some kind of spellcasting system, as long as it has originality.
3. The game seems rather barren. If you haven't already, add directional signs or similar things to direct players, as well as decoration, in the form of ruins and secrets, so that the game doesn't become a few sparse towns and random mobs in some places.
4. Try not to use the basic Minecraft enchanting system. In my opinion, the enchanting glint seems too vanilla to be very impressive; add custom lore that explains damage, and if items can be enchanted, add a tag explaining the enchanted status of an item, rather than enchanting the item directly.

 

You have to remember that this is using NO plugins. All Vanilla.

Im not sure if any of that stuff is possible in Vanilla minecraft.

 

BTW...I am planning on doing a spell system ...but it is different then WynnCraft or Zentrela.

Completely vanilla? That's new. It is very much possible to do what I listed in VANILLA Minecraft, though. For an example of #1, check the Item generator in my signature. For #3, that should be very possible; just add decoration. For #4, use a similar system to the one explained in #1, then change the damage attribute of the item, and then use the HideFlags tag to remove any indication of it in a vanilla manner. As for custom enchanting, that will indeed be rather difficult to do with Vanilla Minecraft, though still possible; you'd have to record all the items in a database and manually increase damage using other stored numbers relating to the first set concerning base weapon damage. Shouldn't be too difficult if you're in 1.9+, though; command blocks speed up then.

Work on your houses. Try going to Grian's youtube for some tips on building.

 

Your item generator does not work. I click on sign and nothin' happened.

 

Not to be rude, but you seriously need to work more on this.
Vanilla minecraft for an MMO is almost impossible. I tried once.

Also, you need to step up your "epic towns". At this moment, they are not epic. They are square houses with no shape.
