Is Assassin Really That Bad?

I just use a water/air/walk speed build for my assassin, no problems. I Get super fast Melee attacks and high spell damage

Rewind, It's basically the endgame water dagger

Yes, because they are higher in tier, especially the Mythics.

You're comparing Rare tier items to Mythic tier items.

The way I see it, the Rare item is an "upped" version of its Unique comparison, Legendary is upgraded Rare, and Mythic is max upgrade, or best to most people.

 

I just read this and got reminded of something. Idk if you guys have heard of a MOBA called "paragon" but I recently started playing it and there is an interesting system. You start with most Heros (classes) unlocked but you need to level up to like level 6 to unlock the "harder to play" ones.

When you talked about the assassin learning curve I thought of something similar. A lot of class suggestions require like 150 levels to unlock. But what if assassin had like a 10 level unlock thing so if you want to play the class, you need to play another class and understand the game mechanics before just jumping in with the "harder to play" class.

 

That's what there use to be. You used to have to have a total level amount of 60.

Arakadicus' Maw can be so good but no one uses it and everyone forgets it exists ;-;

 

because thunder+earth is SUCH A WASTE putting ur 100 other skill points on everything else is soooooo much better
and again i was talking about pure thunder weapons which simply dont exist ;-;

...Earth/Thunder is not a waste, they cover for each other, if dexterity doesn't activate then strength does, and poison is affected by both so you can get massive poison damage. Plus, you get items like Post-Ultima as well. How is it a waste?

 

poison is not effected by dexterity for 100% i checked
also when 4 out of 5 hits deal 200% damage its not a big diffrence if the 5th hit does 180% damage or 100% damage
putting it on def agility or intl would be simply way more useful
also there arent many earth/thunder items

 

I've always loved Assassin, and I've never really thought it was that underpowered. Although, I haven't played it that much since Gavel.

Well I can already think of Crash and Post-Ultima, and possibly Needle Cuff. I can probably find more, that's just off the top of my head.

 

there are only a few more
and they all suck the items you pointed out are not end game items
and the items that are for dex/str and are end game are usually unique , 1 things for sure there isnt a single legendary for lvl 90+ that is for thunder/earth

 

both arakadicus' maw and petrified horror are endgame rares
since when does tier matter anyways besides mythics

I think Petrified Horror does more damage than Grandmother, accounting for the spell damage boost and the boosts in both dexterity and strength, as well as lightning and earth damage boosts

 

i am talking about end game builds atm , and yes u cant make a good build that is all made of shitty lvl 60-80 items (mybe 1-2 but not the whole set , u wont have enough buffs from that)

again i do not mean weapons , there are weapons for every build in the game the problem is getting a full armor set with accessories
