What's The Definition Of Melee Attack?

Is it just basic attack? What's melee attack for ranged class, such as mage and archer?

 

It's just any basic attack. Also, threads like this go in the Questions section

 

It's just your basic attack. So for mages it's shooting a magic blast and for archers it's firing a normal arrow.

 

Like what Tant said, it basically just affects your Neutral Damage

 

No that's not how it works at all. Your basic/melee attack can do elemental damage as well.

Any attack that isn't a spell (or part of one, such as the many arrows in arrow storm).
