What Does Raw Spell Damage Do?

I heard that Raw Spell Damage was nerfed, what does it do at the moment?

 

It turns multihit into an absolute killer.

 

It adds a bit more spell damage. Example: you do 2000 fire damage and 1000 earth damage with a meteor. With 360 +spell damage, you now do 360 neutral damage and 3000 elemental damage.

 

Adds/Subtracts to the amount of Neutral damage dealt by spells. This is applied after % Spell Damage.

Example: A Mage with +200 Spell Damage uses a Meteor Spell. 200 Neutral damage is added to the damage that the Meteor initially dealt with a result of 400 Neutral damage. (200 + 200 = 400).
