Help With Headless Hunt?

As you can tell from the title, I am currently struggling with "The Headless Hunt." On the very last stage where you have to free the lost souls, I just can't seem to beat the boss. Whenever I do some damage to the boss, the minions always start shooting me like crazy and doing lots of damage (I'm Mage Btw) and I end up having to retreat and heal. However, when I do that the boss always regains all of his health.

Please, I need help/tips

Hmm... Try getting behind the stand. I had trouble with this as well (Im a Mage too \^3^/), mainly because it didn't register when I "freed the Souls", so I had to do it multiple times. I mainly used Meteor, what are you using?

Try upping your spell damage or mana regen. Maybe recruit someone to hold off the other mobs.

 

Any good items for spell damage?
(I'm level 65 btw)

 

Ohm's Wish, Kratke Leggings, Opalite Chestplate, Illuminite Helmet, and Enderman's Feet seem to be good choices. (I looked up on WynnApps)

Wait... you're level 37 and need help with the quest? Am I missing something here?
Anyway, I suggest killing the minions first and then going for the Lost Soul (you can also try pushing the Lost Soul behind a wall where the minions can't damage you). Spam meteor at the boss until you run out of mana, and heal whenever necessary. I had trouble with this boss on my assassin, but once you defeat the minions it is a lot easier.
