    No, but technically they will. Specials only deal elemental damage, and you usually transfer a lot more neutral to elemental damage on mythics.

    So, those wands that inexplicably have a serious bonus to Air damage (it seems like its usually Air) when they don't do Air damage, its all about directing you in a particular way when you modify with powder? I mean I can use a different element with my Ethereal, but I'm wasting a +30% air damage if I do.
    It sounds like there are some "suggested" builds/modifications built in. Should be interesting to parse what those are and why once we all get a feel for this.

    I've seen people "nearly explode" when they catch a Pokemon....
    Ok, I'll stop.

    Powders were planned before the Gavel Expansion even. Those items were designed to work well with powders. That's also why easily 99% of all weapons have neutral damage, to allow you to change them as you wish.
