Why Are Cats Afraid Of Cucumbers?

Ok so I've seen these videos poping up a lot lately, Why do you think these mighty little hunters are scared by cucumbers?



Funny thing is, I tried this on my cat last night and when she turned around she didn't even care.
Actually she tried to play with the thing.

 

Dunno, might be a natural thing for cats to react instantaneously when they sense "danger" or in other words, the cucumber.

 

This made me an sara crack up laughing.

My cat saw the cucumber looked at me like 'what the hell' and kept eating.
He must be a spawn from satan.

 

My cat tends to sniff everything, then literally look at me like "what am I supposed to do with this?" ... and then walk away. He won't eat food unless it smells like fish or chicken.

 

It's mean to do that to your cat because they think it's a snake and there eating and usually they think there eating area is a safe place so it scares them even more or something like that (a lot of cat lovers think it's funny when it's not funny at all to that cat usually .-.)


And of corse cat lovers here think it's funny

Lol I wonder what my cat thinks of them then, she sniffed it then batted it around the floor like one of her toys

It's pretty mean to scare cats like that; it's not good for their hearts. It's like getting jumpscared in a game.

That's true it can be, chances are though that people are only doing this once or maybe twice to a cat so it may not be so bad.
At least that is in my case, I only tried it once to see and my cat acted like it was a new toy for her.

But if they are doing it a lot for amusement then I agree.
