I honestly agree with @Terunalix I feel cheated in a way. Though I do think youtubers have to work very hard to get to where they are none of the youtubers that have came up in this discussion(Seb, Glitched, Hippie) meet the 10k sub requirement. And even youtubers with the 10k requirement shouldn't have 3xp it's just unfair to other players, maybe reducing it to 2xp or a % depending on your sub count may spilt this so it works for everyone.

 

So you think its fair that they get a game breaking advantage over everyone else because no one else in the server is allowed to get 4x dont even forget to mention 5x

 

They don't deserve it because they have no fucking idea on how to play the game.
It looks like they need it to get to level 100 which is just unfair,considering alot of people have to grind for it for hours.

You can keep saying its work to keep a youtube channel alive,but honestly,they get it for free basically by playing the game,don't they ? Think about this. Why would they get it for free,everyone can record and upload it. It is not too much work. It takes a while to get used to it,thats true,and it's also not the easiest to get so many subs. I have to agree on that point,and I'm not gonna say like " Ohh 5k subs easy or so" because I know it isn't. But it can't be fair that they get the txp for playing the game and uploading it,considering we don't.

 

Reminder: It isn't a flamewar until people start exessively swearing, or using CAPS inappropriately.

I am surprised that everyone has managed to stay relatively civil about the topic, so far.

 

But in that case, EVERYONE got the buff, not just a few select people.

I agree with part of this, keeping a channel alive is a piece of cake. I actually got MORE subscribers during the month I was inactive than the month prior where I actually uploaded. Though, saying the youtubers don't know the game is a bit harsh, for a few of them. Have you seen Hippie's guides? I can't speak for the other youtubers, but Hippie and Solo definitely know the game well.

 

Well apparently they do because they make high quality vids about the topic, which in this case is wynncraft. As Beef said, like inr, people who put time into uni to get jobs like being a doctor or lawyer, get rewarded (Money) Same goes with yters, they work hard and put time and money into getting high sub counts. Their reward is x3 xp.

First of all i do agree that the rank and the boost should be taken away from some of the people that have got it in the past few days and months, there should be more requirements to get this rank. As people have already stated before this boost should only be given to youtubers that don't play that often. Regarding the leaderboard ''problem'' i think youtubers should be removed from them specially if they have the xp boost, it is indeed annoying to see all your hard work go to shit just because someone has a huge boost.
I'd also like to ask you all to stop treating youtubers like they are some sort of sick people that they have to be put in quarantine, there is no point in trying to discuss this if all you say is ''oh i hate youtubers they get good shit and i don't and they are dumb :c'' or just repeat the same thing over and over ''oh it's just unfair cause it's unfair :'c'', most of the youtubers we have right now have been part of the community for a while, they know what they do or at least most of them, they deserve to be treated the same way as a normal players, if one of them gets the boost it is because they worked hard to get it, and it should also be because they don't have enough time to spend a month grinding.
This boost is fair for those that fulfill the requirements i have stated above, but if you still are jealous and want it to be removed completely from every single youtuber that comes to the server well... good luck...

Exactly, everyone got it, not just the people who have worked hard for it. Here come some lvl 30 noobs grinding with lvl 1 zombies and getting like 3 xo instead of 1 xp

I don't watch any wynntubers almost. I watched seb a while ago,but let's be real for a minute. I know that you,dear Xavier, know alot of how to level and that shows your rank in the leaderboards. You should understand what my point is. If they knew the game,they wouldn't need the youtuber txp because its easily possible to reach 100 without. It just takes more time and more effort,which they don't have to invest. Imagine you wouldn't have to grind anymore, and get your class to 100 by doing 25 of the 105 existing quests. That is a huge overkill. And it is unbalanced.

3xp is still a huge fucking overkill. they get 50 bucks for free,that is enough.

Without the xp-perks for youtubers their content at higher levels would be boring, as previously mentioned.
Who'd want to watch someone grind from 100-101 in 2 months? The rank-perks are made to make their content
more enjoyable for other viewers.

I watch youtubers for who they are, how they act, what they have to tell, not the game itself, which I can already do by myself.
