Guide Can't Connect To Wynncraft? How To Fix!

I'm seriously surprised no one has made this thread yet.

You probably clicked on this thread because you're getting a message that is similar to:


Cannot connect to default or fallback server; try again later.

So now you're here on the forums about to post a thread that has been posted at least 200 times since the Gavel Update. There's multiple solutions to fix it.



1. Authentication Key

Your minecraft may be having Authentication Issues. Sometimes the game will alert you with the message "Invalid Session". In order to refresh your authentication key, restart Minecraft.

2. Domain

You're most likely using the ip "play.wynncraft.com". This is the most used Wynncraft IP, and also the one most people use when they get the Fallback Server message. Simply change the IP to "play.wynncraft.org" or "play.wynncraft.net". Sounds like they might not work. but trust me, they are also Wynncraft IPs! You can also use node7.wynncraft.com, which is the most likely working one. (Credit to @Yuno F Gasai)

3. Father Time

Tried both, and still not able to connect with the same message? The best way now is WAIT. Patience is key. Sometimes the server is just acting up and you aren't able to log in. There's thousands of servers out there (but obviously Wynn is the best one!). Play on it and wait. The server can take anywhere from an hour to a day to stop acting up.


Know another way to fix the Fallback server? Please tell me below! This is all for today.

I do think that those IPs are exactly the same, except for the name, as they connect to the same server.
Changing them won't really solve any problems with the server

 

I've heard doing that can fix the fallback server issue, and I tried it once when I couldn't connect and it fixed it for me.

Alsoyou can use node7.wynncraft.com to bypass the fallback server

We can't sticky all threads, when everything is sticky, nothing is.

 

I didn't say they had to.
The thread is now probably drowned in the list of threads, and I doubt someone will go that far before posting that they cant connect.

 

Ive been changing it to things like play1.wynncraft.com, play2.wynncraft.com, etc.
