How Did You Come Up With Your Username?

Mine came from a bit taken from my previous names

My original was Queenphoenix (I had I thing with fluffy birds back then) so I felt like I needed to have something feathery.

It soon became feathered_dragon (which is still fluffy)

But I felt like the name was too long and it was awkward having people calling me feathered (rarely would people call me dragon for some reason ;-; ) so this is where my current username comes in, Hoquen.

Hoquen is pronounced as "hau-ku-wen" which yes.... I did get "ho" from the pronounciation of Hawks (birds <3) and "quen" was simply a typo of queen, which I was really glad 'cause hoqueen looked like someone screeching lol


Well I guess I ended up typing a paragraph, good job to whoever ended up reading the entire thing ;)

Kitties go meow but I didn't want to be normal because I'm not normal so I became Miauw, 3 is my favorite number.

 

My cousin called our dog (whose name was Toby) "T-Dog" and so the name evolved

 

You can tell how I can came up with mine :^)

 

My dad is a developer, so that makes dev. I couldn't think of anything so I decided on "null". Then my dad's favorite album is 2112. That completes devnull2112 (it's also worth mentioning that a devnull is something as well, so he influenced my devnull part c:)

I have never, never, never (really) changed my username.

I used to have an old username on a really old game (older than this username) that I barely played, so I don't think that counts.

I got my username because I wanted something that sounded "cool," but the first few things I thought of, which I don't remember anymore, were either too short, or they were taken; I don't remember in particular.

And then this.

It happened in around five minutes.

And it's still this.

wanted something "cool".
so i obviously chose "nether" and stuck "taker" on the end of it for absolutely no reason
fast forward to a month or so ago and i had this forum account and i changed my name to reflect it and underscore.

 

Originally, my username was "Spriteboy7". Ohhh was that shitty.

The Reason why I named myself that was because

I later changed my name to "SpriteDew", a combination of "Sprite" and "Mountain Dew".

I am thinking of changing my name to "Spriteskii", but I'm not sure if I should.

Well... I really wanted the name Leviathan and so I need another word to go with it, so I looked up the Coolest Adjectives and I choose Shadow XD True Story, Bro :D

E Back many years ago when people played game like wizard 101 (like my 7/8 year old self) I wanted to be Blaze like in any popular mmo that was waaaaaay past taken so the suggestions told me to be blaze101449 so I was that for a looooong time but then I came to minecraft and league so my friend spark started calling me Baze and I saw people with the HeyyIts tag so basically I ripped off some people and stole there tag start for myself

 

I could've sworn there was a thread like this before.

Anyway:

I'm known as 'ajdude9' ingame, which stems from an old account I have on a website called 'Kongregate', where my internet life sort of began. It's made of three parts:
- aj, this is a nickname, and more a preferred name, of mine I've been called for ages.
- dude, my mother always used to call me a 'cool dude' when I was younger, so I figured 'ajdude' would really reflect I'm a cool dude.
- 9, on Kongregate, I noticed quite a few members with numbers at the end of their names. I thought this was normal, so I decided to put '9' on the end of my name to not be left out.


I came up with the name 'Nepeta Leijon' on the forums from the character of the same name from the webcomic 'Homestuck'. She's my favourite character, so I decided to theme my name (and further roleplay) after her.
