"There's a lot of distance to cover now. We should establish ourselves before we go get him, lest you want to risk having other problems pop up. Remember, he's still being held captive or dead, if he tried to fight back."

 

"I don't mind going across the land again. I could get revenge, your brother could get freed, and you could see your family again. Everyone's happy, right? Except the pile of bodies, of course.

I look straight down into the lake, and whisper, "Hail, Lake."

 

"Both, at this point."

 

"Please elaborate." HH says, faking a lunge.

 

Kyle doesn't even flinch.
"You didn't answer why you want to kill them or why you're trying to hide the reason. Give me a viable reason not to tell and I'll stop nagging you about it."

 

"It's confidential." HH says, almost sarcastically.

 

"Don't make me get someone to dig the answer out of your mind." Kyle groans.

 

HH shrugs and charges Kyle, aiming his blade to hit Kyle's own.

 

"Well, if you're going to play hard to get, you may as well do so here, too."
He sticks his blade in the floor as your blade hits, then fires an arrow at you, grabbing his sword out and swinging wide at you immediately after.

 

HH attempts to block both the arrow and the sword.

 

Blocking the arrow makes his sword only knock you off balance.

 

While on the ground, HH goes for a slash across Kyle's legs.

 

The cut doesn't go through his armor. He brings his blade down on you hard, mostly as a reflex.
"Come on, what did we just do for the last couple hours?"

 

"Kill dummies." HH replies
OOC: If battle is still going on: 'HH proceeds to fall back to a distance and begins to circle Kyle'
If battle is forfeited: 'HH gets up and picks up his crossbow.'

 

OOC: Technically, blood was drawn, so the latter happens.

"Your technique went out the window there. You had a much better swing when you were still cutting away at dummies."

 

"I made do with what I had. If I had gotten upand prepared to do an attack, that wouldv'e left an opening."

 

I check around the area for anything else other than the claw marks.

Yver doesn't seem to understand the cat is about to pounce, so reaches out and touches the cat gently.

"Welcome, God. What is your name?"

 

The cat pounces on Yver and runs off into the forest with him in its teeth.

 

Yver lets out a startled 'Eeeeeep!', and tries to wriggle out of the cat's grip.
