Hello Wynncraftians!

Welcome to Wynn News, where today we will be discussing the return of an old tradition, and the beginnings of a very new update, so without further ado, "lets get roooooooit into the noose!"

Following the recent Wynncon, @Abandonedbank and @Tantibus finally bring back the Featured Wynncraftians series! For those of you who don't know, the Featured Wynncraftian series is a series where the host/hosts (in this case, AbandonedBank and Tantibus) select one or more contributing individuals of the community. You can help suggest new Featured Wynncraftians by heading to General Suggestions and clicking the sub-section "Featured Wynncraftian Nominations". We have @B¡øn¡c_Mâg3 here to interview AbandonedBank and Tantibus over the subject:

What motivated you two to bring back FW?


I was bored and I wanted the likes/figured it would be a fun thing to do and Wynncon was timed well enough with it.


I always loved Featured Wynncraftian, and I was kinda sad to see it go. It made me excited when I saw it was returning again, with the nominations forum and all. But in the end, it wound up only lasting one episode, though I don't recall the reason why. I was really happy when Bank started pushing to bring it back again, and by the time we had decided to do the first episode, Bank convinced me to co-host.


Will you continue to choose multiple Featured Wynncraftians per episode?


No, only special occasions


It's a possibility I'd definitely like to explore in the future, but not every time. We'd burn through canditates far too quickly, and it means we'll ask fewer questions to keep the thread from getting too long.


What is your view on nominations?


We're not obligated to pull from that, but we likely will unless we see someone who we think deserves it or it falls under a good timing.


Nominations will make it far easier to narrow down who we think we should pick for Featured Wynncraftian. Like you saw with our first episode though, this won't be the only way candiates are chosen. I think it's important for people to realize that the nominations sub-forum is in General Suggestions for a reason. They are still just suggestions, and we won't always pick a person from that section to be Featured.

Following the latest Twitter post on the Wynncraft profile page announcing the release of the long awaited Follow-Up Update, the community has been exploding with hype. The Follow-Up Update is generally considered the missing piece in the Gavel Update. Due to schedule issues, the content team had to cut some parts of the game for further work in order to release the Gavel Update in a timely manner. This update will hold many of the things that weren't included in the Gavel Update such as, guild fixes, main storyline quests, powders, etc. The tweet says that the update should be expected within the next two weeks. Due to the diversity of this update, many different players are excited about many different things.

@Wynntastic : What I'm excited for in the new update is grabbing more levels, and generally more content for a better player experience. I'm expecting an easier level route and make grinding a bit easier.

@Drew1011 : It fixes guilds? Then gosh darn diddly darn I'm excited! They should have fixed guilds before they released Gavel.

In other news over the follow-up update, Salted has posted his "Last Teaser" over the update with the message,"That's gonna be the last teaser until the update! It's getting close!" The teaser includes some changes to Mythics/Items in general. As you can see, this update will (hopefully) satisfy many different people and make for a better Wynncraft experience, so hold onto your butts. It's coming.

I'm really sorry to disappoint you, but we never said gonna add those stuff in this update. We said it'll come after Gavel, but not just yet.

We only cofirmed powders for this update.
But don't worry! Lot of new cool stuff are coming, and I'm sure you'll like this update.

What even is it then?
From what we've been told, we knew that powders and main storyline were the follow up update.
Did the plan change and the memo never get delivered to the players?
I'm excited, yeah, but we were all expecting the main storyline, the guild fixes, the powders, the high level quests, the dungeons, and all that to be one update.

Now I'm not gonna get salty at you, but this main story line was teased almost a whole flipping year ago, on september 3rd. But... whatever, I guess. Hype hype for powders

I can't explain much without spoilering stuff I shouldn't, but don't worry guys. This update is still awesome, and I know you gonna like it.
Please be patient...

Jumla was the only DEVELOPER who worked on this update. Now we got a new awesome dev (Jp), and he's working sooo fast! He made lot of cool stuff already and hopefully now we'll be able to add new features more quickly.

 

can you only confirm if there are new lvl 90+ quests?
