Art [~] More Tid Fanart I Guess- Will Herondale

Really this was more of an exercise in writing fancy letters than anything (those are some quotes from the book character). Please, tell me what you think- I haven't gotten any feedback on the style yet.

Unrelated side note, that character outline is beautiful.

I personally thinks your font/calligraphy looks really nice. A minor detail that is hard on hand is the kerning is a little off in places.
Ex: In "Life is a ..." the space between "Life" and "is" is a bit large
However, it's not too noticeable and for handwriting it's all pretty good.

I'm no expert in typography, but you could try moving the dashes on the 'f', 't', 'H' up and down a little to see how things work. Nothing really stands out as bad, and I think the 't's have their dashes well placed. However, it's always nice to try things as in typography even the smallest changes can have huge subtle differences. For example offsetting the slash in 'H' upward slightly will make it appear more centered and can help it be more comfortably read or give whatever atmosphere you desire.


All that being said, as is it looks beautiful and could probably be perfect just like that. I just said all that because you wanted some feedback
