Mage Build?

Aight, im kinda pumped and want to play on my mage, but here is the thing
I've NO clue how to build on it, like what element etc etc

Note, my mage is like level 48... pls suggest me WHAT armour shud i get wht weapon. thx

 

Water/air,use any armour you can find and use Ciocca (level 48 air wand)

 

But i have Sage, with 28xp and 12 loot bonus

 

Use both

 

I dont get it, wht u mean by both? like im so lost atm

Elboww was suggesting that you divide your points among water/air, or intelligence/agility. Then he suggested to use an air wand as your main wand. Since Sage is a neutral wand, you can use it as a backup against things that resist air.

Your armor does not matter as much pre-endgame. Just make sure it doesn't go fully against the air/water you would be going for.

 

So i should divide my points through out water air int and agi?

Ultimately, elemental wands are better due to them being able to be boosted by skill points. Neutral damage can only be affected by strength.

If you like the idea of being able to spam spells and be agile, yes.
If not, please specify

Just giving my two cents this is a post I made on a different thread:
Ik you're asking for a build but heres what I would use at lvl 60:
Faded, Illuminate, or Santa's hat
Detlas skin; bobs battle chestplate works too.
Greaves of honor; bridge of the divide also works 20 dex req.
Bad wolf
Jester necklace
Anything else for brace and rings, besides jester set I just dont bother trying to obtain these. (Precious if you want to bother with rings I think?)
Sage and olux's prized wand
You can switch to speaker, papyrus, and full jester set later on. Buy weapons from town shops if sage and olux wand arent doing enough; switch to ethereal, bob's mythic wand, and lunar spine later on.
For skill points you need at least 40 int maybe other things if you decide to use an alternative, but just get around 68 int and distribute the rest to more int or agi/def etc etc (a couple in other eles if you for some reason need a few more for jester brace. Also if you couldnt tell this is an xp bonus build its pretty viable till you hit endgame.
