Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Earthen stuff?"
He asks, as a bottle of grape wine appears on the table equal distance away from Voidfiller and Stephanie.

 

"Where do you come from?" Stephanie asks.

 

"I've hopped worlds so many times, I've forgotten. I don't have a home, and I never intend to have one."
Two wine glasses appear on either side of the wine bottle.
"Say stop, when."
Voidfiller says, as the bottle slowly fills up the glass on Stephanie's side.

 

Stephanie waits until the glass is almost full, "Stop." She says.

 

The bottle immediately raises, so that the level is exactly where it was where Stephanie says stop.
Voidfiller then pours for himself, filling about three-fourths of his glass, and then proceeds to take a sip.
He manages to make no noise while doing so.

 

Stephanie just downs the glass of wine, managing to not spill any of it on herself.

 

"Any more?"
Voidfiller asks.

 

"Sure; not that it matters," Stephanie says, "We're merely imaginary representations of our physical selves; used to traverse minds, yes, but everything is simply imaginary."

Stephanie's left hand turns into a cat head, which meows at Voidfiller.

 

Voidfiller chuckles.
"Yes, but it's always better to look good in a conversation."
He takes another sip of his wine.
"Clearly you've got the hang of it. Try pouring yourself some."

 

Stephanie's cat hand changes to her normal hand, albeit holding a glass of wine which she sips delicately.

 

"Any more questions?"
Voidfiller asks.

 

"Not really." Stephanie says.

 

"Well, alright then. Stay as long as you want. I'll be here. But, ehm..."
Pause.
"Actually, regarding if you're going to tell Crystal about this or not, you choose what you think is best. But if you do tell him that you met me, tell him the entire story, please."
He takes another sip of the wine.

 

Stephanie ponders something, looking at Voidfiller with a smirk.

 

Voidfiller raises an eyebrow at her.
Well, Thirteen doesn't have those, so he just makes the motion.

 

"It's nothing." Stephanie says, shaking her head and laughing slightly.

 

"It's something. You just don't want to tell me what it is."

 

"Yes, because it's embarrassing." Stephanie says.

 

"Something to do with the fact that I'm using Thirteen as a form?"

 

"Kind of." Stephanie says, smiling.
