Build Dragon Vs Small Town

Okay, so this build probably took me around 3 weeks on and off, just used creative mode to build the entire thing. Probably one of the most enjoyable builds I've done. I know there's a lot of room for improvement; the head of the dragon for example seems out of proportion and the wings could have probably used more work. All in all however, considering this is one of my first huge builds I've put time into, it didn't turn out so bad.

Let me know how I did below, I accept all types of criticism. If you're going to say my build is completely terrible, don't just say that and that alone. Let me know what I did badly and what I could have improved on. Thanks!

It's not bad for what it is, windmill is nice, but the castle and the area around it could use some more detail, as it seems kind of bland, mainly in the lower area of the castle itself.

The use of vanilla trees is a bit odd, making custom-built trees will really make your build stand out if you're good at it.

Bridge could use some detailing as well, and I would say the same for the boat but it seems the boat itself has limited space, you could expand the water a bit so you could detail.

Though, the main thing that bugs me is the blocks being used as Villagers, it clashes with the build in a bad way, you could spawn Villagers and put barrier blocks around them so they can't move, they may not be riding horses and holding items, but I think it would make the build look more nice.

 

Yeah, I really dislike the overall look of the people/buildings myself, I think it's probably because of how small I built the area, which did end up limiting myself to what I could build. Thanks for the comment!

 

Try making some large custom trees, and some more buildings eg. blacksmiths, inns etc.

But it is still is a great build!

I'd have the dragons wings be straight out, not curved. Gr8 build tho!
