Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"No, this guy called Dominus Terrae. He's around here somewhere." I say.

 

"Oh. Well, it'll be nice meeting him."

 

"He's a 'God of Destruction', and I don't exactly trust him." I warn.

 

"Nevermind, then. I'm not looking forward to meeting a 'God if Destruction'. Then again, he has exactly destroyed this place yet, so..."
Crystal trails off.

 

"It doesn't mean he isn't planning to destroy this place eventually, though." I say.

 

"True, but it seems that having the title of 'God of Destruction' would imply that you destroy things on sight."

 

"I don't know his system of judging whether or not to destroy a place, but I don't think he's going to go around destroying everything without reason. These types usually have some kind of mercy." I say.

 

"Alright. So, note, don't get on his bad side."

 

"Yeah, let's hope he spares us." I say.

 

"Mmhmm."
Crystal says affirmatively.

 

Yver leaps gently off Artemis' head and purrs to the cat.

"Keila? What happened?"

The lake goes up to your waist where you are currently. It is slightly deeper nearer to the middle, but not by much.

 

The cat lightly bats at Yver, curious.

 

Spotting the root jump off of Artemis's head, Crystal seems surprised.
"Uhm... eh..."
He says, glancing at the root.
He clearly can't find the right words.

 

"Oh, this is Yver, a magical root that's been following me around." Artemis says happily.

 

"Oh! I thought he was made by you."

 

The healer from earlier comes and sets up the arena again.

"Same terms as last time, I presume?"

"I don't know. By the time I got here, it was gone. Nobody else saw enough of it to give a decent description; everyone was hiding."

 

"Haha, no. He was made by the birthlake." Artemis says.

 

"So he was in the forest?"

 

"Yeah." Artemis replies.

 

"What were you doing away from your group anyways? They did come here before you."
