Anybody Else Have This Problem?

I know that I should repot bugs to the Github Bug Report thing but right now, I just want to see if anyone else has been experiencing this or if its just me.

So, basically, whenever I'm trying to grind and I'm moving around a lot, the mobs seem to be attacking places where I was standing. It's almost like there attacking that spot because I'm still there (which I'm obviously not)...

Now, you're probably asking "Well isn't this a good thing? They aren't attacking you so ez xp right?". That would be the case except for 2 very important things...

1: My attacks, melee and spells, do absolutely 0, nada, nothing to them

2: They still somehow damage me even when I'm 20 blocks away

I tried the ol' log off/log on trick and jumped servers a few times but this consistently happens to me. I'm pretty sure that this is either a bug or a really bad case of lag but again, it happens consistently to me so I can't to guild wars/grind/quests :P

Anyone else have the same problem?

 

Have you tried playing in 1.8.9?

It happened to me when i tested in 1.10.2, but i play it on 1.8.9 mostly and sometimes in 1.9.2 and its working well ;)

Probably, cuz wynn on 1.9 is really buggy *cough* horses *cough*

 

using 1.9 or 1.10 sometimes gives a lot of problems, i'd recommend going back to any 1.8 version, i personally am using 1.8.7 and nothing bad has happened so far

 

Huh. These kinds of things have never happened to me while I was in that version.

so, I tried 1.8.9 and it kinda fixed it, like the mobs still did the same thing but less (like they wouldn't attack that spot for as long) but when I went back to 1.8.7, it was all gone. Who would've thought... Thx a ton :3

Edit: Nvm... starting happening again after a few minutes :I

 

If they're attacking the places that you were, and you get damaged 20 blocks away from them, then its because your internet is likely cancer. It has happened to me when my connection was awful.

 

That could be the case, there is a storm passing over right now

 

Well, when did it start happening, and when did the storm start?

 

It's been going on sense early last night, it picking up now though, there quite a bit of lightning so that probably causing interference or something
