Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Oh, haha. Yes, I'm a Forest Guardian." Artemis says, laughing.

 

"It's nice to meet you, Artemis."
Crystal smiles.

 

"It's nice to meet you too, uhm, who are you?" Artemis asks.

 

"Crystal, appropriately."

 

"Nice to meet you, Crystal!" Artemis says, extending a hand for a handshake.

 

"Oh, gimmie a second."
Crystal dives down underwater, and a few moments later, rises again as a human.
"There we go."
Crystal says, smiling and shaking Artemis's hand.

 

"You're quite sociable for a golem, I must admit. Whoever made you must have known what they were doing." Artemis says happily.

 

"I don't think I'm a golem. Well, I might be. I fit most of the requirements except for being made by someone."

 

"Oh, you were made by a group? I should've known!" Artemis says, laughing.

 

"Oh, no, that's not it either. Do groups of people even make golems? I'm not sure. Anyways, I was made by a something. Still not sure what it was, honestly."

 

"Oh, well that's strange. Perhaps it was a spirit or something?" Artemis asks.

 

"Really, who knows. Nobody knew me then, and I never got the information myself. But I do know that it taught me things."
Crystal says, swirling a bit of the water around himself without touching it.

 

"Wow, that's very odd. Well, you're here now, aren't you?" Artemis says, smiling.

 

"Yeah! And that's just as important as knowing what made me. I often forget about the subject, anyways. It's not like it's a harsh subject, either."

 

"Yeah, no need to dwell on the past as long as you're in the present, right?" Artemis says happily.

 

"Right!"
Crystal says, happily.
"Just as a random question, what do you usually do as a Forest Guardian?"
As he says this, Artemis can almost notice him pulsating, with his right leg slowly turning into something similar to an octopus's tentacle.

 

"I protect my forests and wildlife from harm, and make sure that they continue to live their full lives." Artemis explains.

 

"Cool! Where do you normally do this? I haven't met many Guardians other than you guys."
His leg is now obviously a tentacle, and he starts working on his other leg, doing the same thing.

 

"Forests in my world. I sort of miss home." Artemis says.

 

"Oh. When will you be returning?"
His second tentacle is done. However, he doesn't seem to be moving them much to stay afloat, yet Crystal's head is still above water.
