Media Wynn News S2 #16 Disbanded Fox Members Regroup, Wynncon Approaching

Hello Wynncraftians!
And Welcome to Wynn News!

That is right everybody; we are back, and today we have a great new Segment of Wynn News for you all today! This includes the disbanding of Fox and the regrouping of its members, a refreshing new thread by @LordMuttonChops , and the upcoming Wynncon and it's effect on the community. So without further ado, let's get into it!

Fox, or Kingdom of Foxes, was a guild we all came to know and love founded very soon after the creation of the Guild system. Since then Fox has made it's place in the world as an incredible and organized community guild. However, what goes up must come down and in this case this is especially true. Arianna A.K.A @LoveLusting in passing down her crown decided to disband the guild instead, leaving hundreds devastated and bewildered as the usual case is handing over leadership to second-in-command. However, this would not stop the community, or family, of the Kingdom of Foxes as the veterans joined together and created a new guild by the name of "House of Sentinels" to take Fox's place. The guild was founded on July 2nd of 2016 and is making its name as a community guild currently on the server. "I myself am devastated over the disbanding of Fox", says @Misty, leader of Snt.

LordMuttonChops is a year-old forums member who is known for many things such as his events, guild, or even his obsessive love for sheep. In his recent thread, Mutton explains how lately he has been noticing an under-appreciation for the content team and how he wanted to do something about it. Mutton contacts Salted, @Ackro, and @Lotem, to talk about these things, in which they all replied in how hard the content team is working for the update and in Salted's case, how under-appreciated they all are. This thread ended a lot of the rumors of the content team being lazy and renewed some of the hype for the next update.

We all know that you had some really deep emotions when making this thread. What exactly inspired you to make it exactly?


In my Wynn Friends Skype chat (A chat with around 80 good friends of mine I met through Wynn) there have been a lot of people who've already lost faith in the Content Team, Saying they're not working at all, And that's why they left, And well... I didn't accept that, So I went out and proved them wrong.


Your thread seemed to really sway the ideals of many players throughout Wynncraft, do you think more players who before claimed the CT did no work will now have more respect towards them? Or do you think that they will not change until results are shown?


So far a lot of CT support has been shown on the thread, And it seems to get really popular, I hope that some players who haven't been respecting the Content Team before and seen this thread would now, But I can't know for sure the opinions of each one of the people who've seen the thread.


This thread has gotten a lot of good feedback from the community. Do you see yourself making more threads similar to this one in the future?


Well I normally try to mix between shitposts and high-quality content, But I'll probably start making more of these kind of threads/some other high-quality community threads on different topics.

With the new "Wynncon" approaching fast, many players who have been working on the event for three months are finally going to be able to watch their dream become a reality. Wynncon was started by @DJKreeper along with other "event makers" such as @LordMuttonChops, @Oryx, @RainbowSlug, @B¡øn¡c_Mâg3, and myself. Many builders and command blockers have also worked on the event to make it as great as possible. The convention is taking place on its own server, paving a new path for Wynncraft events everywhere. With the convention only 5 days away players are getting excited to see what is to come "I think it will unify Wynncraft's community and lead to a more community based future", @Yuno F Gasai states while discussing the topic. Considering the fact that Wynncon will be hosted on a Private Server, this opens up many doors to the possibilities of this event. "I expect that in contradiction to events hosted on Wynn this will do much better because of the higher player cap and the permissions the hosts will have (building an arena/managing the crows), I do think this will lack the formal side to it (unless one of the admins goes on) but at the moment it seems like this will one of the biggest events in Wynn."

However, the players aren't the only ones who are excited. Staff on the server and CT members are all working very hard and seeing their hard work paying off is considered a great feeling among many of the members. "Its been pretty cool to work with fellow Wynncraftians on this", Shtafjord tells me. When considering all of these things, Wynncon is surely going to be an event to remember.

all of fox, that's around 50 peeps
the rest of Valkyrie is another 150 or so
all the guys who were under the Valkyrie projects are 78 more if I recall correctly
and then we have all of Fox's friends and more friendly guilds, lets say another 50?
so we got to around 300 people?

 

But the disbanding, disbanding only if devastated like 50 or so people.

all of the alliance were devesated, we were sure this meant the end of our alliance.
Valkyrie is the oldest standing alliance in game and means a lot to its members.
we (Imp HHu Lth members) are all very friendly with fox members and really like their community, if you want make a strawpoll and we'll see the votes.

 

But that doesnt really make a difference now the new guild exists.

 

The new guild starts off at level 0 again, meaning the amount of members it can invite is limited so not everyone will be in, and also that it won't be as powerful. However, this is a community guild so power does not matter as much.
