Better Host?

the wynncraft host is litterly shit i've never seen any server that lags as much as this server and it really annoys me i like the game and just ruins the game with all the lag. i bet all of you is gonna say get a better internet! no every other server i play on my internet is fine but when it comes to this server it's actual shit

Other servers don't have a large RPG plugin.

 

Wynncraft can't just flick a magic switch and "get" a better host. Believe it or not, these things aren't free and money doesn't grow on trees. And for the record, I have semi-decent Internet and almost never lag on Wynncraft.

How in the world do you have "decent" internet and you lag?
That isn't a decent internet

I suggest getting a better internet (dunno how, since I'm too young for this stuff) or get a wire directly connected from your router to your computer.
Helps if your router is also right next to your gaming computer.
Make sure your computer is cooled off enough, overheating can be a serious issue and can cause your computer to slow down and/or crash

Alright then, why don't you go criticize another awesome server, with custom resource packs and plugins, one of the largest most detailed maps in minecraft, an extremely talented content team with devs working around the clock to fix everything and make new things, that's free! Sure, Mojang gets their $27, and you pay your internet provider. Guess how much Wynncraft gets? Exactly 0%. So why don't you shut up and enjoy the fact that you have something like Wynncraft, for free, with owners who are doing this even with whiny little brats complaining how their efforts aren't 100% perfect.

And BTW, this should be in general suggestions.

 

1. Are you sure you aren't talking about your FPS? We have nothing to do with stuttering or framerate drops on your client.
2. If it is indeed actual lag (and not framerate drops) and you get it consistently (as opposed to every so often), then it is likely do to your connection or location in the world. Our servers are located near the northeast region of the US. If you are far away from there, or have a bad internet connection then that again is completely on you. If other servers work fine it might just be that they are located closer to your physical location.
3. Whining about lag and being overall rude won't get you any more help

I actually didn't know that was a factor affecting performance on a server. No wonder I'm experiencing lag spikes every now and then on all the big servers, since I live pretty much on the opposite side of the world :/

 

You right man, their internet is just shit. It's not about how hard on their servers having all these plugins are due to this being pretty much an entirely new game coded using minecraft as a base. It's their shit servers. Right on the dot my man.

Even if that were true, those are one and the same. Complex plugins cause load on the server. That said, our hardware is good enough to handle lots of players.

 

1st off, they use their own host. 2nd off, dont get a fucking toaster for your computer or your internet.
