I lost 40m going from 62-85 just this week

What is it like
What does it cost in us

Is it worth it

An mmorpg that was made back in 2001.

It's like, a place where you can do almost whatever you want. You can fish, chop down trees, kill random stuff (or people xD), get easy monies, or make friends with other people!
(There's a lot more to this, I'm just listing examples.)

The game is free to play, but to access all of the content, you need to pay membership, and no, it is not unlimited (I know, its rather inconvenient but that's just how it is.)

Depends if you want to invest a lot of time in it. The game has a ridiculous amount of grinding (I've played the game for 10 years and I still have not maxed out a skill. I'm slow ;-;)

As much as I love to hear people considering the game, they haven't been getting many new players recently, probably due to it's age. I'd still recommend the game though, it gets very frequent updates and lots of content to enjoy. There is also an older version of the game for those who are more interested in the nostalgic days called OldSchool Runescape. New players might think it's strange, but older players who has played back in the day will definitely understand on why it's so good.

This is why I dislike Herblore; You lose so much money ;-;

 

minescape is based of osrs(old school version of runescape). Personally i'd much rather play the real game over minescape. Runescape is a game based of working hard and getting rewarded for doing it, looking dope imo.


Top is maxed archer and bottom is old school almost-maxed

in all honesty runescape is a game that get more fun(and addictive) the further you get in-game, so it may be hard to get into it at a lower level.
but alot of the lower level quest are voice-acted and alot of the monster/bosses are easier aswell

as with most people, its a hit or miss, you either think its too much grinding or you wanna max and get best gear

In all seriousness, I started playing RS3.

 

Oh how I love Runescape.
I haven't really played it in a while, but I would like to get back into it. It's just.... the grind to actually get quest requirements takes forever. Still, it can't be as bad as getting 99 firemaking.
My stats are probably extremely low considering how old my account is, but I take fairly long breaks from the game

right after the early-game quest "A Shadow over Ashdale", he described a screen that said "CHOOSE YOUR PATH". He clicked and it said "You must be member to continue."

Oldschool is confusing if you haven't played through RS3
RS3 is the best for starting out
RS3 costs money for 70% of the content, though.
