Melee Damage And Spell Damage

Hi,

I would appreciate if someone can answer me this. All questions below are base on archer class.

1.) Does Melee Damage have any effects to my damage output?

2.) Will Melee Damage affects my spell damage or it only affect my normal attacks?

 

Melee Damage only affects basic attacks, as far as I know. That would be the effect it has.

 

Ahh i see, another question i would like to ask is, i saw lots of people eager to buy those Jester rings and jester bracelet, but as far as i know, those items have set effect.
For example, i have a jester bracelet with 33% xp and 28% loot, but set 1 it minus away 35% xp and loot, it makes it pretty useless, its like the 33% xp and 28% xp totally gone.

 

The Jester Set works well for XP if you have four pieces. This means 33% XP Bonus*4-70% Set Bonus, giving you 62% XP Bonus, the most out of all other options at the moment.

You'll want to have the entire set before using it, though.
