Salted/Jumla will most likely nerf/fix it in the next patch, and the problem will just disappear.

 

Not sure if someone pointed this out, but maybe this would bring some veterans back who want to start fresh with everyone else? Not sure.

That probably wouldn't be the most practical way to do something like this. Besides, some people work harder to get their stuff rather than their level.

I'm guessing you haven't counted the one minute logins for trading, checking for updates, or just loging on for fun.

 

I would rather not have my 100+ hours over 3 years of playing on this server be deleted. Deleting everyone's stuff would just make people like me quit, I love the game but I'm not in the mood to have my 17 classes wiped.

To fix the economy, all we have to do is stop everyone from spending anything, forever.

Or replace emeralds with flint.

 

People have 3 years worth of effort in the game. Imagine broetingers 600+ hours being completely worthless.

 

This would kill the game. Imagine, Broettknger or other players, with 994/110 total levels, all the peoples hard work and time devoted to this game, GONE.

 

It does have pros, but theres a lot of cons, especially for legimately gained xp and stuff.

 

I can't really support this, I mean all the time and effort we put into the game will be totally rendered as useless after this hard reset. Think about the people who are aiming for 101 (such as me); they put so much time of theirs into the game to gain one extra level, and after this reset they will need to spend 1 month of pure grinding once more. Also, think about all the shop owners; they will lose all their hard-earned emeralds. All the mythics and stacks of LE went to waste. Literally 90% of the player base would quit because they don't want to go through all the things they worked hard for.

However I do agree that it would fix the economy in a way, but in return it would come with multiple downsides (as mentioned above).

 

Nu I worked too hard to build a stable family.

Personally, I wouldn't mind a full reset (in fact, I might like one for myself!), but some people might not be willing to invest the time into rebuilding back to the way they were, especially for those who have put in hundreds of hours into their classes. I won't say this idea is bad, but majority would probably disagree :(

 

Ok so,

I love this idea. I would love to see a hard reset but,

1. People will easily get back to high levels fast and use a cactus build again
2. Donators might be pissed because they would have wasted money buying xp bombs that they already threw
3. A lot of new players that just started wynn might be confused with what the hard reset did, making them quit

However, I like that

1. This would help fix the economy somewhat
2. Cactus builds won't be seen for a few weeks
3. You could meet a LOT of new people because you would see tons of people doing the same quests together
4. People might be able to organize class inventories and banks better with a fresh start
5. QUESTS WILL BE SUPER FUN AGAIN WITH A NEW START!!!

But yeah, great idea. I hope something like this happens.

I don't think many people will have the time or willingness to level all the way back up again, it's very tedious and people have already put a lot of effort into their levels and gear

Well, if this happened then don't you think that the people who created wynncraft are going to have a harder time? Because most people would leave the server and they need the money to get more updates into the game (Like paying people to work on the game, that is if they do that)
