Voting Island

Welcome to Voting Island! Here is how to play.

General Info

There is an island. It has no name, no laws, no anything. You have to come up with these things. You have to suggest new things to be added to the island. Once I get enough things, I will make a poll which has those things. You vote for them, and the one with the most votes will be added to the island.

How to Play

I will give a main question. If this is a simple yes or no question or a number, I will make the poll when I make the question. If it is more complicated, such as asking for the name of something, I will ask for names, then make the poll. Once a poll is made, you vote, and the option with the most votes will be added to the island.

Note: DON'T VOTE ON THE POLL AT THE TOP! I forgot I couldn't delete and re-add it. Instead, vote on the poll at the bottom of this post.

Events

Events are... err... events.
They happen every two questions, when the results for the second question happen.
They can be about any issue, good or bad, from mass killings to new technology.
As you may see, the event can be a big problem. Because of this, you may need to make laws on them (which will be most of the questions after the next one).
Of course, if you can see a way of adding the law an act with other ideas you were planning for the island, then just add them as an 'act'.
But if you can't, you may have to choose between them.
Of course, you can just let the island spiral into chaos. But that's your choice.
Every ten questions you won't get an event. You will get a mega event.
This is basically where you get 3 events all in one. They can be related or completely unrelated.

The Island

- The island is called 'the Island of Sudden Creation' (note: forgot polls couldn't deleted and re-added, just ignore the poll at the top of the page). This name was suggested by @Enhanced_Human
- "The island has a long beach, the beach leads to a rainforest, and through the rainforest there's a clearing with a very large grassy mountain in the center, surrounding the clearing are various rivers, there is a path leading to the summit of the mountain, and scattered along the path are various houses, shacks, and huts built by the local inhabitants, and finally , there's the large, snow covered summit of the mountain. In the center of the summit, there's a tall, perfectly cylindrical pillar of ice, with an eternal, ethereal flame burning at the top". This design was suggested by @SpadeZ1
- The island is inhabited by sentient rocks. This was suggested by @modern
- Law one is, "Pushing another rock downhill and causing an avalanche is strictly against the rules". This was suggested by @Enhanced_Human
- The capital city is called 'Stonehedge'. This was suggested by @SPYROHAWK
- Law two is, "Making rock puns is punishable and the punishment will be something that has to do with your pun". This was suggested by @Magnus
- A second newspaper had to be created, as the original one disappeared mysteriously. The second newspaper is called the 'Weekly Stone'. This was suggested by @SPYROHAWK

Option A - "All people who don't like feathered Dinosaurs are locked in a steel box and sunk to the bottom of the ocean. The box also electrocutes the victim, but not enough to kill, only enough to cause immense pain until the victim dies of carbon dioxide poisoning, thirst, or cardiac arrest."

Option B - "No rock is allowed to venture to the far side of the island, for beasts lurk there that are dangerous to rocks."

Option C - "-1 person will be sacrificed to Sat... I mean Salted on April 20th every year by burning in that flame on top of the mountain, and you must follow Sa... I mean Salted or you will be immediately sacrificed."

The island has a variety of biomes, with forests, deserts, even volcanic areas, however, no one lives on the island, so there are no cities or villages.

 

The island has a long beach, the beach leads to a rainforest, and through the rainforest there's a clearing with a very large grassy mountain in the center, surrounding the clearing are various rivers, there is a path leading to the summit of the mountain, and scattered along the path are various houses, shacks, and huts built by the local inhabitants, and finally , there's the large, snow covered summit of the mountain. In the center of the summit, there's a tall, perfectly cylindrical pillar of ice, with an eternal, ethereal flame burning at the top.

 

Island is a semi-active volcano with lava that flows down the south side of the island every other day, and the north side is a sandy jungle, leading into a lagoon with an oil spill clogging movement.

 

The island is a barren desert prone to meteor showers.
