if more water is bad for Lament

does that mean the cactus nerf is good for cactus builds?

 

I mean cause with powders Qira Hive Wand will most likely be better than Lament in terms of damage

 

To be fair that is the point of the Hive Infused Weapons, they are "infused with energy from all five known elements".
I assume when adding powders that the weapons will gain a huge boost in power.

 

The only thing that buffed damage directly was green powder pregavel.
Also, who says all powders simply buff damage? (this is not a rhetorical question)
Armors have slots too... If you had maximum slots (armor AND weapon) with empire builder or cluster you'd probably be OP as fuck if they only buffed damage.

Well we know that powders will give you elemental damage because that's why how Lunar Spine has air damage id's but not air damage to begin with , so that's how we know that the powders will give some sort of damage buff or at least unlock a set elemental damage to your weapon, and armor I would expect give buffs to your elemental defense and no more damage (Which elemental defense is really only an issue in PvP really). We know from what Salted said saying If I do my job right powders will be more gameplay changing (something along those lines), so we can expect powders will do much more than just buff damage. Obviously it would just be to op having Az or Fatal with everything maxed on thunder powders on not just your weapon, but your armor giving it damage buffs would be basically spamming atom bombs at your opponent.
