Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"As you wish." Ruby growls.
You're splashed in the face with vinegar.

 

"Stephanie! Tell your friend to stop being such a meanie!" I shout.

Stephanie sighs.

Myria walks over and slaps both Artemis and I over the head, "Do not be rude to your friends like that, understand? Now apologise." She says sternly.

"Sorry Ruby." Artemis says.

"Yeah, sorry." I say.

"Sorry about these two. If they're going to act like children, you should treat them like children." Myria says.

 

"Even so, they're not my kids."

 

"That doesn't excuse their behaviour, however. Keep that in mind." Myria says, before walking back, closer to the forest.

 

Ruby looks at you and Artemis flatly, uncloaking.
"In all seriousness, how would I treat you like children? You don't exactly look like children."

 

"I can make myself look like a child." I say. Darkness surrounds me, and when it dissipates I look ten years younger.

"Can I hav a wowwy pop?" I ask, smiling cutely.

 

"No. And don't you dare start crying. I can't promise anything with crying children."

 

"What if I were to fall owwer a skin my knee, and start cwying? What would happen?" I ask, grinning.

 

"I'd have some explaining to do to your 'mommy,' so stop acting like a child and start acting like what I know you are."

 

"Oh, YOU MEAN THIS?" I say, darkness surrounding me again. When the darkness fades, I stand thrice my usual size. My body no longer seems black, it seems like a hole in reality; my red eyes piercing the abyss and staring into the very soul of whom they gaze over.

"Aj...you're scaring me..." Artemis says, backing away.

 

"That works." Ruby seems unfazed.

 

I draw Shadow Katana, which looks sharper and demonic, and slash at Ruby; stopping bare millimeters from her right horn suddenly.

 

She still seems unfazed.

 

I ponder for a moment, before disappearing. I re-appear as a much comparatively smaller, yet incredibly detailed, Xlentia.

 

"You're going to smash the forest, Aj..."

 

I glare at Ruby, before disappearing.

 

"There's a reason Rineth didn't come!" She shouts back where you were.

 

Artemis looks around for me; to no avail.

 

"Does he always do this?" Ruby floats down to Artemis, frustrated.

 

"Ah, and I see." I say, looking around my surroundings.
