SPOILER Cactus Is Hard To Form

Am I one who perfers grinding 10 times more than doing quests?
I refuse to do my quests >:(

 

Depends. I pick grinding over any of those >Level 40 quests, but once you're level 90 you pretty much have to get as much XP as possible from a level 70+ quest.

 

Well, some saguaros take decades to form.

 

It may be player-subjective, but it is rampant. I've had it happen too many times to me.

NO ONE knows the methods of The Salted. We just wait, and watch, and hope, and pray.

i break my fingers a lot while grinding sure. But the only thing that makes me comeback is the effort of the people who made this update even if my fingers fall off i appreciate the effort and keep playing to enjoy it. Eventually i level up and do the quests that are amazing and then grinding starts again. But i have to agree grinding is painful but look at me who suffers with a XP bonus of +15% to level up takes me like 3 weeks to be level 84

Okay, I just read this entire thing, and I'm just about to explode. Here we go.

First of all, let's state some common logic. First of all, the Cactus Build is centered around a bug. That's pretty common ground. Next, bugs are things that shouldn't be in the game. Also neutral ground. Now, based on these facts, we can deduct that the owners, content team, and staff of this lovely server aren't too happy with the fact that hundreds of people are exploiting something that shouldn't be in the game.

Next, this is to the people using the Cactus Build. You know that this is a bug. You also know that it's going to be removed. So why use it? Most of the people using the build have probably had to buy at least one item for it to work. Not to mention 1Le to reset your skill points (probably). Why waste all this time and money to build a set that will probably only work for the next two months? (No pressure guys, seriously.)

Now, onto grinding. I know it sucks (I personally haven't had to do it, my mage is currently level 80), but get over it. At least half of you have to be in middle school or above, you (hopefully) have problem solving skills (in my case... I don't). Come up with fun ways to grind, set a schedule (kill this many mobs every day/week). Or just wait for the next update and don't grind! Explore the breathtaking world that the Content Team (which I hope to join, if I can come up with a quest...) has put together. Travel too far, mine too deep, and of course, challenge what should not be challenged (from Reincarnation).

Or you could quit. Take all the hard work you've done and pitch it. Every single person reading this has put in too much time and effort to do that. Don't quit. It accomplishes absolutely nothing. It doesn't benefit you, it doesn't benefit the staff, it doesn't benefit anyone.

This is just my personal opinion. Take it how you want, I've said what I wanted to say, now I shall get back to doing Hunger of the Gerts Part I.

 

Having high or max exploding can make grinding not only fun, but faster as well. Even though apocalypse is only available to warrior, there are still accessories and armors! Trust me, even though my apocalypse only had 73% exploding, for about a week I WANTED to grind because it was so fun!

Okay I've read up to page 3, and I will state my opinion. While grinding should defiantly be a part of all MMORGS, It's so boring. So boring. While I understand the content team is hard at work doing stuffs, I really do think you should make another way to get XP other than sitting at Freezing Heights/ToA and pressing buttons until you are so bored you decide to do something else. The most simplest thing to add would be high level quests. Plenty of good suggestions that you could either impelmant or take inspiration from. Or maybe make some other way to get XP.

This is from a GM herself (I think Selvut283 is a girl. Sorry if I'm wrong). They had to rush to get it out when they did. If they didn't want to appease the masses so much, it might not even be out now. So before anyone starts to complain again that there's no good way to get xp lvl +90, remember this.

 

More just thinking, where would we be without good grind spots? Even if they aren't the most fun thing in the world, at least you have -some- method of getting to Lv 100...
