Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

The fuse quickly burns down, leaving only a few seconds until the bomb explodes.

"I'd get away from there, Iruk!" Abigail shouts.

 

"Thank you." I say, handing him most of the money I have. "Here, it's yours."

 

"What is it?" He shouts back.

He hands half of it back.
"Thanks, but you still need supplies for the road. It won't do you any good if you get there in another bad condition."

 

Abigail quickly flies down and grabs Iruk, flying him away from the bomb moments before it explodes violently.

"A bomb." Abigail says.

 

"Oh... didn't look like one. Thanks."

 

OOC: I said most of it, but okay.
"If you insist," I say. "I'm quite tired, so I'll be in the guest room. Thanks again." I make my way into the guest room.

 

OOC: I know.

It's not much, but the beds are better than the sand.
Opal follows you, tired.
"Thanks, Adawalae. Let me know if I can make it up to you sometime."

 

"Huh, cool."

 

"Can I feel the fabric for a moment? Sorry to be awkward."

 

"Of course." I say. "So, any idea where a mage may be? You've traveled more than me; I just lived in the desert most of my life."

 

"No, I fell in the desert. I don't even know the layout of the region."

 

"Oh, okay." I say. "I'm sure we'll have plenty of time to talk on the road tomorrow, so I'm going to bed." I lie down on the bed.

 

Seems he's beat you to sleep.
Warren opens the door.
"I'll be gone in the morning, most likely. Just a heads up. Night."
The door closes.

I appear over near Abigail.

"What in the heavens are those noises?! It sounds like war!" I yell, slightly frustrated.

 

"We're celebrating the flower you killed back on the mainland."

 

"What flower are you talking about?"

 

"The one whose ashes you have in that bag. That was Sir Drake, Sir Robert, That-Damn-Flower... and now, finally dead!"

 

I try to fall asleep.

 

I seem more confused than anything.
"Must be something with this group." I mutter under my breath as I summon the pouch of ashes.

"Well, I was going to try out some things with these ashes on some plants to find out about the disease, but since all of you are so adamant on it being able to talk, then I might as well try to bring it back alive to ask it about the disease." I say, weighing the pouch.

"If I can figure out how to."
