ok how do i fix this im at my laptop and using hotel wifi i cant connect to a server (its raining rn here)

That error occurs when your internet sucks. There's pretty much nothing you can do. If you can use LAN instead of a wireless connection that helps a lot (ask reception how to get better internet? lol).

Also plz change the title or this thread may be locked and you won't get any more advice.

@qoat , you obviously weren't banned, so why don't you stop pretending that you were? Frankly, it's really annoying. Next, your hotel is probably using some form of satellite internet connection, which is why the rain is messing it up. There is nothing anyone here can do to fix that issue, and you can't fix it, either, unless you can get a wired connection. You see, contrary to their hype, satellite communications are affected by things like rain, thick clouds, and lightening. Of course, some fool could always try to see if the cable connections to the dish antenna are tight and dry, while it's raining, but it would take a real idiot to attempt something that stupid.

 

No need to encourage them to do such, Moe.
