"Yeah, she's tired."

 

"I just hope she didn't hurt you in any other way."
I let go of her hand.

 

"Why?" I ask, "Did she chase you down or something?"

Stephanie takes your hand again.

"I don't think so. I feel alright." Stephanie says, smiling at you. Her burnt hand seems to be fully healed.

 

I smile back at her.
"What are you looking forward to, here?"

 

A girl in a white dress looks at you a bit nervously.
"No, she hasn't had rest in months."

 

"New sights, new places, and old kingdom to explore. I've always had an affinity for ancient uins and items of old." Stephanie says, smiling at you.

"Whoa, is she a queen or something?" I ask.

 

"Mother? Kind of."
"She's a goddess."

 

"Personally, I'm looking forward to this lake that Daras mentioned. It sounds like a peaceful place."

 

"Hm, then I'd understand why she could manage to not rest for so long. Still, sleep is good for you." I say.

"Yeah, I was thinking of taking a sample of its water to study for any magical effects. It could be like the fountain of youth or something." Stephanie says.

 

"Who knows? It's an abandoned island."

 

"Yeah, maybe we'll find some treasure or something." Stephanie says.

 

"Who else has been here? People from the Hive?"

"When she wakes up. And yes, you can come if you want to. Or you can explore the ruins on the other side of the island."
He turns to Ihra.
"Ready to go to the Birthlake?"

 

"I think we might be heading out soon."
I say, looking at Daras talk to Ihra.

 

"Oh good!" Stephanie says happily.

 

"Yeah, we know."
"She was scared, though. Not much we could do to help."

 

"Well, I guess she's asleep now eh?" I say, smirking.

 

"No idea. They're all dead, and I don't bother remembering them all."

"So what powers does she have?" I ask, curious, "You don't have to tell me if you don't want to."

 

"She's the goddess of storms."

 

"Whoa. That's pretty shocking." I say, finger gunning and grinning.
