"I'd try if I wasn't so weakened..."
"Mother, we could escort you, cover you if they forced your seal."
"All three of us are near. Kai could bring in-"

OOC: And it was at this moment, that Rawb figured out that Shadow Stephanie is setting Stephanie and Thirteen up.

"Shadow Stephanie, please. You're making me doubt Aj."

 

"I wouldn't let him hurt you!" Katie says, smiling.

"I honestly can't tell if that's you playing a trick or actually Stephanie. But either way, I have absolutely no idea how to do so."

 

"I'll take that as a yes." I say, before wandering off along the beach.

 

"Oh, I'm serious. Want to see how serious I am?" Stephanie asks, before slitting her throat. She falls to the ground, choking on her own blood, which spills out everywhere, "Th-Thirteen...h-help!"

 

"I do not have a trick for helping with slit throats. I recommend healing magic immediately." I comment at the scene unfolding.

 

"Well..."
"You'll be fine."
"Alright... I'll go. Could you please escort me, though? I see you're armed."

 

"Eugh."
I take out my rag, and put it over her neck, cleaning the blood and then covering the wound.

 

Sgavrinn snaps awake, then starts lapping up the blood, unaware of its source.

 

"Yeah, sure thing! Can we take Kai?" Katie asks, retrieving her trident from the frozen geyser.

The blood seems to stop immediately, like the wound isn't there. Shadow Stephanie appears nearby, laughing, and Stephanie gets up, feeling the rag around her neck, confused.

"Thirteen? What happened? I can't really remember much." Stephanie asks, confused.

"Whoa, Sgavrinn, you're pretty metal." Shadow Stephanie comments, watching Sgavrinn as she laughs.

 

"Well played, Miss Shadow." I comment.

I look to see which of the two has the makeshift Icepack.

 

"Sure."
"I'll follow on Claire."
"I can walk, but I'd like to stay near you."

Sgavrinn whines when he notices Stephanie was the source, then nuzzles her gently.

 

"Shadow Stephanie possessed you, I got freaked out, and she seemed to have a really good time doing so."
I glare at Shadow Stephanie.
"Was it fun hugging me?"
I ask her.

 

"gg, wp, qq." Shadow Stephanie says.

The makeshift icepack is still on Stephanie's hand.

"Ok!" Katie says, running back the way she came to Kai happily.


"Oh, hey Sgavrinn." Stephanie says happily, petting Sgavrinn.

"I know she possessed me, my memory's pretty foggy, but it's coming back slowly." Stephanie says.

"Steph' was still in control then; I don't want to come between you and her and your complicated relationship." Shadow Stephanie says, before laughing even harder.

"Not like, pfft, you could, haha, ever, hahaha, make her." Shadow Stephanie says through her laughter, before falling to the ground, crying and laughing.

 

"Are you okay, Miss Shadow? Did that lightning strike do much more damage than it looked?" I ask.

 

Keila walks out onto the water, Aria awaits you on Kai, and the girl at the shrine rides a four-winged beast that hovers nearby.
"Mother, you know where they are, right?"
"Yes, I do."
