Armour Texture

When I look on the Wiki, about armour types. I see that the texture to the armour is different then in the game. Im the game the armour looks.. Vanila (but has the texture of Wynn). It doesn't contain any of that "cool look" the armour in the wiki has. As you can see from that Tribal Armour, it doesn't even remotely look like the dyed leather armour in the game.

My questions is Why?

 

They disabled custom armour temporarily, (It'd be back snooty) but I'm not sure why.
Probably due to lag...?

 

They used to have armour skins.
The only problem was, loading the skins was problematic, glitchy and laggy and many people didn't like how some of the skins looked, so they have been removed for now.

Well, they did add /armour before they removed it (it didn't work, but if it's re-added it probably will work again).

 

When it makes you rejoin the world as soon as you log into a Wynncraft server world, that's what they used to load armor skins. Looks like they left some code in case they feel the need to add it again.

 

Any idea when they are bringing the armour skins back. I really liked them.
